Crazy to see how well the pro’s have these maps mastered. It was a blast watching Cloud9 play in the HCS series, and it’s also really cool to see how Renegade plays in casual matches.
One thing he did underutilize as a pro though is the teabag. He missed many ample opportunities to degrade and humiliate his opponent with the classic move, but either forgot or chose not to we don’t know. The teabag can change the course of a game.
Talking about sandbox play, I was so proud when I used the disruptor on the stronghold point to kill the low guy who was hiding on it, I managed to impress myself for a sec
I absolutely love watching these pros play. I dream of being this smooth. If only I could know the things I know now, back when I was in school and could game 6 hours a night 😆
Are there ANY m&k pro players in Halo Infinite? Or at the very least, any very very high ranked m&k players? Or is the game just that controller dominated? I have seen insane gameplays from controller pros (like Snip3down), but it would be so refreshing to see a top tier m&k player in Halo!
@@BlegBog I thought most pros were on PC with controller these days. But either way, I realize most people playing Halo in general probably come from Xbox, making it a controller heavy game from the get go. But if m&k was competitive in Halo, I think - or hope - we'd see many new pros rising up. But as far as I've heard, aim assist is very hard to compete with in Halo.
Yeah, after watching the whole video, that was the one trick I picked up on too Because gosh, attempting to follow someone while using camo can be so unrewarding
I had my first 40 kill game the other day but watching this just shows me how much more I can improve. His positioning is just so spot on all the time.

As much as i hate the current grenade meta, this video shows how you use grenades as a sort of "scanner". He always tries to use his grenades to scan with the hit detection, if an enemy is around the corner or behind some stairs. Also the way he throws them teaches you how to do it without just spamming them but to hit your target or your zone. Its also refreshing to see that even world champions often just die because they get swarmed, had a bad spawn or were spammed by grenades.
2:33 That jump is hard to make an Clamber let alone land on top. If you didn't know about that jump you need to go into training mode and practice with Grapple and Repulser. That is a pretty basic jump everyone should know by now. I bet majority of the players don't even know how to use equipment.

Is it weird that I miss the assassination animations from Halo 5? Maybe it’s because I’ve been playing Destiny 2 a lot recently and they have finishers now, reminds me of assassinations 😕
Hey bud, I am an inspiring Halo competitive player. I'm slightly older than most people who I play with so it's hard to get good information from the younger ego driven people I meet. I was wondering if you'd be willing to review my gameplay. I know it's a shot in the dark but you could use it for content stating I'm an "older player getting back into FPS games, does age hold you back from skill growth?" I'm 34 and used to play comp Halo 2 way back in college in 05ish. Haven't played since until I started playing Apex Legends, Hyperscape, Splitgate and now Halo. Let me know. No hard feelings. Thanks in advance. Love your content, your transparency, information relay and relatence, etc.
I would totally be down. Would you reply to this comment with your Gamertag, and the gameplay you want me to take a look at? The film will need to be bookmarked by you, and you'll need to accept my friend request - LavitzGG is the GT
I'm 43 and haven't played much Halo/video games over the last ten years, I've noticed my hand/eye coordination is nowhere near how good it used to be, and also I panic and rush shots a lot now. I've realised I've got to be a lot more tactical now as I just can't compete when it comes to quick reactions, watching the pros on TH-cam has definitely helped me in regards to positioning and tactics.

Had this debate with my colleagues the other day. There IS value in an objective mode to have a highly skilled slayer just farming kills against the opponants to keep them suppressed and unable to control the map, but only if the slayer is competant and their teammates are actually playing the objective. In regular Halo, especially casual, you often find only one player on a team trying to play objective which isn't sustainable
@@GeorgeThoughtsFor sure. But the discussion isn't centered around what he's doin for his team, it's about how sick gnarly his moves are lol. Besides, competetive awards you for kills over objectives or wins anyway.
@Tyler Barse Running a flag or holding a ball requires important decision making about where to go, who to pass it off to, when to drop it to defend ypurself with those sick nasty moves. As a carrier or capper you do both; kill and support your team. I'm more interested in watching the clutch caps that win a game.
