My favorite Pizza Hut memory was back in 1988 when I was deployed to the Persian Gulf in the Navy escorting tankers to and from Kuwait. We pulled into Bahrain for a few days and me and some buddies took a taxi into the capital. We were wandering around the city feeling totally out of place when we rounded a corner and there it was, a Pizza Hut. We went in and it was EXACTLY like any Pizza Hut in the states. As a homesick 18 year old kid halfway around the world from home it really did a lot for my moral.
Pondarosa! Loved it! The first pizza hut location was by my grandfather's house. Fond memories of walking there as a kid. And that long John silver's was a block away. This is by Kennywood on 885. Man I miss those days! Pittsburgh dad is the best. Now that i live in north carolina i make sure to tune into every episode for the nostalgia.
