In design of water tank hydrostatic pressure acts on bottom slab as well as on vertical wall.
Direction of hydrostatic pressure varying from o at top to 49 KN at bottom level is shown in global Y downward . Actually this varying water pressure acts on vertical wall horizontally , that is local X direction.. Also to assign this pressure plates of top slab also selected which is not required since this pressure will not act on top slab. So please check.
Water pressure of 49 kn/sqm will also act on bottom slab.
Your lecture is good but my suggestion is please slow down your speed so that listener will understand in better way. P.B.Pathrikar

If i want to design 100kl capacity tank so bays is taking same as this structure or any other changes apply except dia and height of container wall.

First of all I appreciate your efforts, but there are some issues while in the way of your designing:
    1. You applied hydrostatic load in all the plates, there was no need to apply hydrostatic load in top dome.
    2. You applied hydrostatic load in the vertical walls in GY direction, instead in should be in local Z direction.
    3. You should have explained, on how to apply seismic load in the OHT.
PS: I don't want to let your moral down, just sharing some corrections.

I have a error in define mesh region it says input error: boundary points are not in same plane! And also how to change run structure wizard to change it units to foots to meters

No of bays along periphery is assumed ?

Your design is okay. But plz tell me how to make it economical ? Use of M30 concrete is okay but can we reduce it to M25 grade ? If yes then how to analyse that. 🙏 Thanks for such intresting videos.

do u think if u make m30 to m25 the analysis methodwill change?

Upto ring beam use M25 and after that in water retaining structure using M30

Sir please explain you take water density 1000 in n/m3 but in n/m3 water density is 10000 ?
