I was set to buy a 2024 SRT with the 6.4 v8. After my wife and i test drove it, we realized that it was a bit too loud for daily driving (sounds like a harley, even when just cruising). At 30, with no kids, the engine and exhaust notes on the 6.4 SRT would be great. At 40, with 3 kids, that's not quite what i want to hear 100% of the time in my daily driver. Disappointed, someone pointed out the DD TNG package. Hmmm, I've never heard of that package. I drove it, and it was the perfect SUV for mixing v8 exhaust notes with comfort for daily driving. Long story short, i bought the 2024 DD TNG and love it! There are times that i wish it had the 6.4, but that's maybe once a month when i pull up to another sporty SUV at a traffic light, lol. Otherwise, it has plenty of power and absolutely amazing exhaust notes, brakes, and suspension. I realize a lot of people look at a specs page and say it's slow, but the reality is that it brings a smile to my face every time I drive it! It also offers a level of comfort for daily driving that the 6.4 simply cannot offer...which is a must for me at 40.
@@JNALLZ7 Seriously who is paying this money for this dinosaur? Not only is the V8 slow for the price point of this heavy dinosaur it's also like 9 to 10 mpg so you can go 0 to 60 in 7.2 seconds LOL,, Ohh wee she sound fast though LOL
I had a 2015 Citadel with the 5.7. Now have a 2021 Durango Tow and Go. All the looks and Hellcat performance (performance suspension, exhaust, Brembo brakes, sport, track, tow modes). Love the truck.
SRT Brimbos for you slow non SRT Hemi. Heavy Dinosaur with the slow V8. Cupholder for third row? LOL, no camera no nothing. Sounds fast. LOL, hey look two heated seats? Sunroof from 2010
