Thank you for sharing this. I have a question. I'm a recent graphic design graduate with only school experience. How do you separate "just creating a logo" vs "a logo part of a brand identity"? We learn (and you also said it in the video) that a logo is not a brand identity but part of it but there might be clients that do not have in mind to create a full brand identity but they just want to create a logo, how do you mentally separate the 2 things or do you create the logo keeping in mind that eventually it will turn into a brand identity?
the logo is definitely just one part of the full brand process. I never create "just a logo" but it is a huge part of the branding process which is why I wanted to focus in on that :) alot of times clients don't know they need the full brand identity so it is best to guide them and share why it is SO important for an effective logo. hope that helps!
