    Great, thank you. There's other videos about this on TH-cam, but you are the only one who left the trigger on the hose. This is exactly what I was looking for.

    Why not just use the wand. Take off the spray tip and heat bend the tip of the wand and go. No need for the clear tubing. Worked for me. If you warm up the fluid by putting the sprayer or bottles of fluid in hot water it makes it easier.

    It Works Great i Have One For ATF And One For Brake Fluid. It Will Not Damage The O Ring Inside And Will Last For Many Many Years. Best Part It's Cheap And Works Fantastic. The Second One I Bought At Home Depot Was Only 4.99 For A Limited Time For The One Gall. So How Can You Beat That ?

    When you pump the multi-sprayer, a high air pressure is created inside the sprayer container. So when you put the tube connected to the pump container inside the transmission, won't the tube just push air out into the transmission instead of sucking transmission fluid out of the transmission?

    • @MikeEM1
      @MikeEM1  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not trying to suck out fluid from the transmission. There's a drain plug for that.

  • @amyhawkins369
    @amyhawkins369 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why did you cut the wand? Just screw it off and pressure fit the tubing on the threads just distal to the trigger. Much easier and still works fine. You can still use zip ties if you want, but I've never had a leak problem as long as I keep it under about 30 PSI. Furthermore, if you destroy the wand, it can never be used again as a sprayer. A little brake cleaner and a good flushing would make that possible, but again, NOT if you've cut the sprayer wand in half.

    I bought the same pump. Except i removed the tip and melted the wand into a U shape. Just inserted some thick wire so the tube wouldn’t close under heat. I have an 8L90 with dipstick fill on top. Hooked it in hands free and pumped away. Great vid.

      He’s not extracting. He’s pumping it into the top of the transmission after draining from the lower plug. Looks like he’s flushing the system good before inserting the lower plug, after which he’ll top it off. It’s useful when areas are difficult to work around.

    • @fallingjeff
      @fallingjeff 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, if you’re looking for an engine oil extractor, look up DIY shop vac oil extractor. Mine works great, but I’ve never used manual, pneumatic, or electric extractor so I can’t really compare them. I can tell you that it’s about the same speed/time as a manual extractor from what I’ve seen.

    • @manfredstrappen7491
      @manfredstrappen7491 ปีที่แล้ว

      There’s no PSI gauge on these $10 tank sprayers nor should it matter for this application. You just need to fill a reservoir, just like the engine oil but you don’t get gravity to help on the transmission fill.
