I too have been using it for 3+ years...., and a lot since I got it. I have used it in Oil, Gear Oil, Power Steering, Brake Fluids and even as a Vacuum. It did leaked a bit and it was the " O'Ring " that was bad, I think... I put in another O'Ring and a bit thicker... It seems to do just fine now. NOTE: Within about 5 usage, I noticed the leaks. I changed the O'Ring and have not had a problem since. It's really useful for sure... Especially if you are trying to be clean!
Just bought one for my w210, as my oil plug/nut is stuck and wont loose, i'll give it a try by tmrw and update my comment. Thanks for sharing your review on it. 🙏❤️
I changed the oil (8L- 8.5Q). It took around 30 minutes with a %1 effort. I totally recommend this pump for any DIY oil change for your car. As for the first use, I'm satisfied and I really hope this pump keeps running 🙏❤️
The tool is good , but I suggest to check always the quantity of oil you extract , you don't want to live a quarter or more of old motor oil , and from the transmission I think 3 quarters is not much of oil , usually inside the transmission take 6 o 7 quarter , I would start the car put it in gear and let it run for 2 minutes , you have better results to extract a few more quarters of a dirty oil

Good video but I see a problem with that hose that goes down the dipstick tube. It's too curled up and when it's past the dipstick tube it's just going to curl up instead of going straight down to the pan not getting all the oil.
👍😎👌Nice video will definitely be getting one of these for sure. A quart of Lucas engine oil leak seal was mistakingly put into my transmission reservoir and I need it to come out immediately. I hope this will do the trick🙏
Awesome video , Thanks very much for posting this. -i've been wanting to do this same process on my 2008 Ford Focus , drain & fill with Amsoil Signature Series Fuel-Efficient Transmission fluid (instead of motorcraft mercon lv ) , take for a spin , do this 2-3 times, then when it's ready for the filter km/miles wise , i'll just take it in to my mechanic. I've been watching fluid extractor videos online for transmission fluid, this is a great idea.
A little tip is to measure the hose against the dipstick.. Number 2... How did you remove the transmission fluid from the torque converter and the transmission lines.
If it’s bad i.e. brown, black or not red at all get as much out as you can, change the filter then fill it & run the car for a couple of days/week then extract the fluid and refill. Consider the cost of the extra fluid a bargain compared to paying garage labour. If the fluid is still fairly red you don’t need to change it a 2nd time.
On the extractor pump. In the transmission you have check balls that move around , I wonder if that causes them to move and any problems. In the torque converter there is alot of transmission fluid in there
This method is called a 'drain & fill', it removes about 40% of the transmission fluid. The torque converter & the inner workings of the transmission contain the other 60%, If you want to drain most of the old fluid out, you should use the 'drain & fill' method about 3 times with a few months in between each 'drain & fill'.
How do you clean the pump after you use it? I was told that your engine should be warm before you use the pump which makes the oil come out faster, is that true? Your video is really good, I thank you for it, my questions are to cover all the bases before I try to use one.
Hi buddy from Dubai, watched several videos and I am waiting the same pump to use it on my loved CLK. Will do video and show it to you :) By the way, from your experience all engine oil was removed ? no need to remove the bolt for engine oil? Is it ok to use the pump alone?
I want to try this , I hope I can remove at least 5 liter from transmission with this pump, I wonder how much in total transmission fluid capacity your car has.
any differences between the 80W and 60W versions??? they all look very similar or identical but the watts on the label and maybe the same but the labels? does one actually work any better? i was wonder if its all china marketing for the same thing :)
It's really useful. I too have been using it for 3+ years...., and a lot since I got it. I have used it in Oil, Gear Oil, Power Steering, Brake Fluids and even as a Vacuum.
It is called a 'drain & fill'. He is only draining about 40% of the t'mission fluid, the other 60% is in the torque converter & inner workings of the t'mission. If you want very clean fluid then you should do a 'drain & fill' about 3 times with at least a week of driving in between each 'drain & fill'
How would you clean it if switching cars for another job to avoid any contamination? Is it needed to be done? Or use different unit for each different fluid?
No, you don't want to do that if the transmission is older it can possibly ruin it. Regularly maintained transmissions won't have clogged filters unless they are dogged.

So what about your filter? You STILL have to replace the oil filter. Get out of here with this crap. Maybe if you F up and put too much oil in and then have to take SOME out but otherwise......
This car is probably in the junk yard now due to transmission slipping. It might have been better to leave the old fluid in and drive the cars life out. Never change fluid that is as brown as that was. That is a good indication of a severe wear problem or is very very old.
A transmission holds over 10 quarts of oil........So you mix 3 quarts new with all the old....good move.......bring it to a transmission shop and get it done right!!!
That’s what you get even if you just drain, and doing a flush at such a high mileage can be disastrous, multiple drain and refill is the way to do this... had many Mercedes and done it so many times
I too have been using it for 3+ years...., and a lot since I got it. I have used it in Oil, Gear Oil, Power Steering, Brake Fluids and even as a Vacuum. Soap and warm water. Rinse it really good and very well.

do you warm up car before you do the transmission

just bought one off ebay....$16.00 shipped
Does this drain pipe reach bottom of oil pan? If not it will not be effective as we remove the nut underneath and remove all debris....??
Yes it hits the bottom

Looked for the link to the pump and didn't see it
I have a new pump like yours but it can’t extract the ATF it’s strange, I used it on cold fluid and hot and it couldn’t do it
Can you post the link sir . Thanks

Great Video Dude!
If the value body is not torqued correctly, would this cause the car to be n limp mode?
Really not sure about that, sorry I just don’t want to give a wrong advice
Will this drain the car battery? If so , How long can I have lt on without draining it?
How's your transmission doing?
Lol that's wat I wanna know to
It takes 40 minutes to extract 4 liters of engine oil.
Warm up the engine first then oil extraction will be much quicker.
What about all the clutch plate silt In the bottom of the pan? This is a short cut video.

Geoff E It will be flushed out by the old fluid coming through the pump.
FYI, it is $25.99 now. (Edited 9/12/20. It is back to $19.99)

Still dirt cheap
How did you clean the rubber hose?
How do you clean them
Very helpful thanks a lot
What would happen if transmission fluid is pumped with this? Flammable liquids such as petrol (gasoline)?
There's warnings all over the manual to not pump flammable liquids through it. Doing so could cause an explosion or fire according to the manual.
@@dustinspeicher3390but this guy is doing exactly that, he’s pumping transmission fluid
Thanks.
What if your car doesn't have an oil dipstick like some models of BMW that calculate oil electronic??? 😭
Have change oil with it
Yes it worked great
Transmission fluid is flammable. This may not be safe.
Where do you dump the oil? And can the pump be cleaned by pumping water through it?
I take oil to recycle ♻️ center and no pump should be used with only one type of fluid
You clean it by pumping new clean oil through it.
Did you disconnect your transmission filter when you put the plastic hose in?
No, you don't want to do that if the transmission is older it can possibly ruin it. Regularly maintained transmissions won't have clogged filters unless they are dogged.
Theres no chance of it draining the battery is there? (Assuming the battery is functioning as it should be)
Nope, these pumps use little voltage.
How abt the filter??
I have a e320 1997.any body knows the part number for the transmission oil pls
Yes mine is an auto
If you are in the USA just use the valvoline max life full synthetic, it’s compatible with NAG transmission

Yes, it needs to be somewhat warm to flow easier.

Slow!
It’s a bit slow, but better than showering in ATF
Just take the car for a drive for about 15 mins, this will warm the transmission fluid & allow for more rapid transfer via the 12V pump.
The pump is handy but not dropping the pan is absolutely ignorant.
Another hand model 😂 not .the hands all over the place is annoying stop messing up a good video
