I love the creative ways some places use any means to hint towards a romance when they aren’t able to do so explicitly. A lot of us (especially western cultures) forget how lucky we have it. Our media can represent “non traditional” romances while other countries have to read between the lines while also fearing their safety. These pieces of art and story telling are powerful in deeper ways. Planting a seed and opening possible communication in areas and with people who may not have. Im not sure if that was the intention when this show was created but the impact is still there.
