I know it's a little dense contextually and the lore is vast, so it's not everyone's cup of tea but this tale is truly what started it all, and I have every intention of seeing it to its completion on this channel. 😊

You know how I've been saying I've had the story planned out since the beginning? This is one of those characters I am BEYOND thrilled to finally have you meet. The Sorceress and the Seer were created simultaneously at the very start and you finally get to see the other side of the coin.
It has been so much fun to quietly weave her presence throughout it all. Building up to such an important piece while knowing your POV would meet her only the one time, and then she would fade back into hushed whispers and vague references? Chef's kiss The stuff of fantasy lover's dreams. I have such a soft spot for our Seer, and I hope you enjoyed this one as much as I did. I have been around since the beginning. Best decision I made was seeing the sorceress for the first time and I'm glad I did cuz Havenmoor has been a fun, exciting, interesting, etc adventure.

I said "what!" out loud when the Seer revealed her connection to the Sorceress and went from half awake to fully awake, was NOT expecting that twist.

Just.... So good. Your voice, the story, the character, just, so good. I love the repetition as part of it.
Oh Mira, this was exceptional. When I saw the thumbnail and realized we were finally going to meet the Seer I audibly squealed and sat down for this video with tea while the snow rages outside. The perfect atmosphere somehow.
I have loved Havenmoor for so long now it feels and the way you managaed - through the medium of ASMR!! - to build up to this encounter throughout that time has been nothing short of astonishing. In a way the Seer has always been looming, watching, and I'm not surprised to read that she has been with you from the start. It really shows in your acting in this video - it feels real and immediate without losing the mysterious aura the Seer has. "You see…I saw…You will see." I got full shivers at the weight of those words, whether they are written or entirely improvised the grasp you have on the magic and themes of your story shines so damn bright it is a blessing to get to witness. Something feels very special about the fact that all this time, through all those snippets of story we saw…the Seer was waiting in her castle for us to set her free, though it is her descendant who will take her place. Gift and curse both, indeed. Only thirty minutes (and her presence throughout) and I care very much about her. I hope she finds peace when she is gone. I will miss her, certainly.
Because the Seer is…I mean, she is amazing. She stands alone, but she doesn't seem cold, just…well, she has quite literally seen a lot. Grown a lot, I guess, after many mistakes made. There is a gentleness in how she talks to what may well be her successor, or liberator even I suppose. The whole look is great, it really harkens back to that "Seer of legend" aesthetic and the scars you created look great, plus I can't even imagine filming all this in those contacts but they came out looking so well! As a massive fan of this series I obviously can't judge what this is like for those who haven't followed Havenmoor (though I can only say to those: Go and watch and experience this phenomenal tale! You're in for a treat!) but I think that even without the context, the mystical storytelling in this video alone, coupled with effects like the soft wind in the background, the "visions" showing us three versions of the Seer, as well as your amazing voice make for a magical watch that can absolutely stand alone!
As a lover of this story however - Wait they are COUSINS? Oh my. And even from this (and the prior videos) it is so clear that their relationship is deep and complicated and painful. It's interesting to me how the Seer was jealous of the Sorceress' beautiful gift, how she was selfish in what she did, but in some ways they both ended up isolated, ancient and alone. That sentence…"magic curled up at her feet" oh my goodness. Acted and spoken so well. It does hurt, how they are so so far from childhood and only now seeing it clearly. Hindsight is 20/20 even for a Seer. I love getting invested in this, but you make it easy because you have an excellent grasp of storytelling and a real instinct for elements that will make the experience more immediate for your viewers, this is true both in your Havenmoor videos as well as all other ones. It's never really surface level - you go deep. Different realms, too, a hint of them like with the Creature in the Caves. The Seer, past and present, is the warning of taking too much. I wonder how Valentia will stop what is coming, what mystery remains, and I'm rooting for the Sorceress to figure it out - give her a break, Lady Seer, she has a lot going on okay. Though the Seer is right about one thing: I am excited to hear the full story of the companions, even though it will probably break my heart.
This is long and rambley so I'm gonna stop but I just needed to express how much I love this, and Havenmoor, and your work. Just...love it. Truly.

We finally meet the seer ! You blew my expectations out of the building again with this one ! The story progresses with so many interesting twists. Also the character design on this is amazing, from the eyes, scars, accessories. It was a great addition to the Havenmoor universe !

The first night I actually made myself stay up through the whole thing bc I was so invested in the character and story LOL.
The writing and the acting are beautifully layered, so very uniquely creative. That's one of the reasons I love the Havenmoor series - every character feels like there's deep history there, indicated by just a slight expression or tone of voice. It really makes the whole experience more immersive. I commented elsewhere about your costuming and makeup, but wanted to come back to tell you how impressed I was with the script and acting

This series continues to be fantastic! I love how "our character" gets to meet one of our greatest great-grandmothers. Being her descendant, we don't know how many greats would be in that title, but it is still awesome. I know I would be pretty stoked to meet that relative, and I know I would also feel a sense of loss when she's gone. I would assume that "our character", will end up spending some significant time with her, & thus getting to know her. So, even if it's a relatively brief time, I know I would feel sad when she's gone.
I think I personally would also feel a sense of blame for her death. That the reason she's gone is b/c I was gaining the Seer's powers and thus would technically be the reason she died. Or at least that's how I would feel about it.

Huh. Recontextualises a few comments. The letter from waaay back, as well as her reaction when she first learnt the vistior was developing forsight and thus her extremely old adversary/compainion was dying, removing the last person who knew her before her self imposed exile.

I love this story, but the timeline confused me a little. In the description, it says the previous in the pov is the Migraine video, but isn't this the same pov of the Wytch Hunter's Interrogation or am I just mistaken?
Probably happening simultaneously. Since this character is a seer she makes the timeline a little wonky with what she already knows. 😉
