    Just gonna share this with you, but the hori haybusa buttons it comes with aren't cheap. they are the current arcade standard on vewlix cabs as is the stick itself. Also this is Hori's only switch stick true but this isn't the stick that's made to compete with the Madcatz TE2+ that would be the hori fighting edge and the Hori RAP Kai vewlix edition.

    I recently ordered one of these myself. Between the ACA Neo Geo games and all of the fighting games coming out on Nintendo Switch this year (Blade Strangers, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, and (maybe) Pocket Rumble) I felt as though it was time to get a proper arcade stick.

      MagicianNG does this still work as player 1 with the latest system update for you? I can’t get it to work as P1.

    That's actually a really nice looking arcade stick. I'm glad you found the ability to modify this arcade stick in such a way that your comfortable with.

    I have one quick question. I know it works on pc but is it actually possible to play this on other consoles like the ps4?

    In general,hori makes really good joysticks,controllers etc.Though that's not the only joystick for the switch there is one by 8bitdo as well.

      At the time I got this, it was the only arcade stick and sadly TH-cam no longer allows me to add an annotation so I can't make mention of that stick as well.

    Im having a hard time to decide if I buy the Switch or PS4 version of the Stick.
    Cause I mainly play on PC. But since I also own both consoles, it's a nice thing to be able to play on both.

    Cool stuff. Love the fact that you replace the buttons for reasons I wouldn't understand. I've played with a few sticks in the past and I just can't wrap my brain around it.

    Just ordered this myself. Planning on replacing buttons with Seimitsu ones and do some color coding while at it.
    Is the USB cord replaceable?

    Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I took your advice and ordered it along with some Sanwa buttons as well to accompany it. I'm looking forward to playing some Metal Slug 3 on this thing. :3

    Nice review. How do you like the Hayabusa stick compared to Sanwa or Seimitsu?
    BTW another thing you can do is mod the Madcatz or any other stick with the Brook UFB pcb which supports switch, ps4, ps3, 360 etc. That’s how I’ve been playing the Neo Geo games on the switch.

      i can tell u first hand,the Hayabusa is responsive asf,but it too loose for my taste tbh. the Seimitsu being the stiffer of the 3. i use Sawna with a 2lb spring and a Kowal 1mm actuator:)

    Nice, but for me I prefer the matte buttons... (personal preference)
    I'd rather not have my buttons covered with fingerprints... I also had the understanding that matte buttons are better for precision as glossy finishes tend to stick a tiny bit to sweaty hands during really intense matches, but nice nonetheless. Also, the back part will definitely feel flimsy as it's simply a door to keep the cable... shouldn't expect an industrial cover for that ! haha
    Just wishing that the stock buttons were concave!

    Is there any way to use this on xbox one with adapter?

    Actually, there are TWO Nintendo Switch-related arcade sticks: the Hori RAP5 shown in the video above and there is also the wireless and rechargeable 8Bitdo N30/NES30. Plus, what is the point in getting Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection when there is Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers to be played on the Switch? But, if you want Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection just for Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, then be my guest. I mean, what is the point in playing the previous versions of Street Fighter 2 (Original, Champion Edition, Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter 2 and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo) when you got Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers to be played?

    • @ProjectCOE
      @ProjectCOE  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      At the time of recording this video this stick was the only one available, but alas TH-cam will no longer allow me to use annotations to mention the other stick. As for the Collection, it's nice being able to relive the Alpha and III series.

    • @JoshCobra89
      @JoshCobra89 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dustin Nunn people still play SF 2: Hyper Fighting & Super Turbo competitively, same goes for alpha 3 and 3rd strike competitively so having the 30th anniversary collection bridges old and new players together
