As a 50 year Vikings fan here is my take on KC. I was advocating for the Vikings to get rid of KC for the pass 3 years. Darnold currently has similar stats as KC and the biggest difference is that Darnold is able to use his legs 2-4 times a game to bail out the offense when the play breaks down. KC on the other hand is completely a one dimensional QB, relying on his tremendous accuracy and his relentless business approach to the game. When KC took off running it was like “where the heck did that come from”? It was strange because I always felt KC could run more but chose not to because he didn’t want to risk getting hit and he is all about himself, his health, and his contract. Secondly, KC held the Vikings hostage for years as the only QB with a fully guaranteed contract (the pervert Deshaun Watson’s contract is fully guaranteed) despite never being able to raise the level of the players around him. When the Vikings went all in with KC they had just come off an NFC championship loss and much like the Falcons the team believed that KC was the missing piece despite coach Zimmer not wanting KC. This was the beginning of the demise to the Zimmer era as the team kept devoting more & more resources to the offense and sacrificing their perennial top 10 defense to try to get more out of KC because again they discovered that KC couldn’t get the team over the hump. KC had only one playoff win in 6 years but managed to line his pockets with 200 million dollars. Good riddance KC!
Skol! I have always been anti-Kirk. I had to research him when Vikes picked him up. And right off the bat I could see his M.O. Business over wins. Sure he wants to win. But he won't take pay cuts for it. But I get it. Make life changing money. But he is definitely well off by now. If he took cuts and allowed the Vikes to build an O-Line around him, he may have had more than one playoff win.. But he play well enough to be paid. But business first mindset doesn't mesh well with teams. It was really frustrating when he wanted to take days off while the rest of the team practices.. Like man wtf.. Edit: and his inability to be mobile was frustrating. We kept hearing "Kirk is the most sacked QB in the league!" "Our O Line is terrible!" but in actuality during that specific time Kirk had a top 10 O-Line. His inability to move made our O Line seem worse than it was.
Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnald do NOT have similar stats.. like AT ALL.. not even close.. whoever pulled the trigger on the pick up of Cousins should be fired. Doesn’t take a genius to do the homework to see the guys a cancer.
Obviously, I don’t know the Falcons as well as you do, but the weakness on the D line especially at DE isn’t a secret and has been that way for years. Choosing to draft a QB with the 8th overall pick was one of the most surprising picks in the entire first round given the Falcon’s weakness at DE, and clearly is a head scratcher with the acquisition of KC signaling a win now attitude! Keep in mind without a competent pass rush, every backup QB in the league can pick apart a defense if given the time.
Kirk Cousins vs. Vikings in a Revenge Game - two choke artists when it comes to big moments that have meaning. I will take the better team in that scenario. Still love Kirko.

Kirk world also fumble the ball if tackled on a run more often than not when tackled

Won't be surprised if Kirk bounces back, especially in MN.
Kirk sets a new record with 600 yards or more and 7 TD 1 int for a loss in OT. Let’s go dirty birds!!

I'm not looking past Atlanta but they don't scare me at all.
Not going to lie,I am afraid. The only positive is that our defense knows where Kirk will be,because he can not run.
If it were Allen, instead of Murrey, Cardinal might have won by a field goal as Lions did in Lion’s win over Minnesota at Minnesota.
Vikings winning this game 💜💪
No chance for kirk, Kirk is not hood in blitzing!! Minnesota will Win
