I'm about three quarters through my build, used your video as inspiration and a guideline. Thanks! How did those cot sheets fit on the mattresses? I noticed on Amazon they are five inches wider than the mattresses. Still work out fine?
Funny as it is. I still haven't put the sheets on. Wouldn't want to tell you something I'm not even sure of myself! Soon as I try the sheets I'll respond here and let you know how it is. Thanks for the kind words good luck with your build!
You are welcome! Yea this mattress is a definite winner. I do use a roll up pack in type air mattress that I put under the mattress now. For extra cushion.
I need something to put in front of the woodstove when the electricity goes out during snowstorms- which it always does. I have been wondering if I should get a 4 inch or 6 inches? I don't want to feel the floor.
I will be sleeping alone, by design, cross ways in the short bed 5''6, I'm 6'1. Have you noticed if you have 2 mattresses you get lost in the seam or sink in the seam? I'm thinking of buying the wider one.

Thanks for the video! For side sleeping, are you feeling the platform in the middle of the night once you've settled on it? Do you have to supplement with pads underneath? How are they holding up long term? Any drawbacks?
I'm a side sleeper. Middle of the night does start to bottom out. I'm also 195 pounds. Now. I put my Cabelas air pad underneath it. Now I never bottom out. The air pad alone almost supports me. Using them both together has held up amazing. Spent about 12 night in the truck now. Been cozy every time. Even in the cold nights. It didn't harden up on me too bad.

It's definitely a great choice.

Just bought one of these to slide into my hatchback. Super excited. Great video!
Thank you! Never heard of one in a hatch but it should be great!
I was given an airbed mattress and it was the worst thing I have ever used in my life. I like your idea and might just buy it thanks for the video.

With these. I have not had that issue. It all seems to work pretty well for me. Even laying side by side
Appreciate the video, might have to grab one...or two !
Thanks! Helped me decide on getting this.
You're welcome! Just slept on it twice this weekend. Definitely a good buy. Get the case!
You’re gonna use it with a Tonneau cover? Do you have a tent or camper shell? Seems like you’re gonna be real wet and cold if not

Thanks for the review - this helped a lot.
Absolutely! You're welcome. Let me know if there are any other reviews you are interested in. If I can do them. I will!
What do you cover the bed of the truck with.
It now has an ARE camper shell over it. Can see on a different video on the channel!
Does it have any funky smells?
Thanks
Nope
Don't let it get wet.
Have you used these in freezing temperatures? Were you able to keep warm?
Yes I've now spent 4 nights below freezing. With proper layering I slept awesome. Super cozy.
I figured you lived in the Midwest and then you confirmed it, haha.
How did I confirm it? Lol
@@TheWaterHopper You mentioned O'Hare Airport.
@@HeyMavDak yup and I work right next to it lol. Planes all damn day.
Is the foam pretty dense?
Yea I'd say so
What’s size is the mattress
4" thick. 74" long. My bed is 72" the extra 2 inches actually make it sit nice and snug.
Does this mattress smell like chemicals
Not at all.
Who's Gary lol
Lol Gary is just a neighbor with loud cars. Always blasting around the area.
That's funny
"MAlliard" - It's MIlliard, mil, not mal , it's not a mallard duck
whats the result? is it comfortable? lol
It's amazingly comfortable honestly. Waiting for the cap for a night of sleep.
Wouldn’t want to reach for your keys 🥴
Only me and my Fiance can grab my keys lol.
Too much movement on the camera, I am getting dizzy trying to watch your video,
Appreciate the feedback! I've since settled it down a bit. This video is almost four years ago.
