We have been testing this grinder for a while and we can say that it is truly a reliable "Grind By Weight" grinder.
.
In general, the weight will be exactly right on point, or with a difference of 0.1g
.
You might get very occasional 0.2g to 0.3g difference, but even with that, it won't affect your extraction, or at least it won't drastically affect it.
.
You will be able to calibrate the grinder from time to time if you wish, we guess our Libra needs that calibration as we have been moving it a lot lately.

Its technically precise not accurate since it was always off by 0.1 grams. Can be adjusted to account for that tho.

Hi there, we are showcasing how accurate the built-in scale of this grinder. It has a built-in scale and as you can see on its digital screen, we set it at 18.1g , and in three consistent cycles of grinding we were getting 18.0g, which is very accurate and admirable 🤍☕️👌⚖️
How do you feel about this version of Chrome? Is it practical for daily use, or does it require a lot of effort to maintain its appearance? How good is quality of coating?
Hi there, we love the quality of the coating, and we can say Eureka does wonderful chrome coating as we already had old version of the Mignon ij chrome coating that lasted for many years with zero scratches. It requires cleaning, but less than you would expect ☕️🤍

Hi there, it has around 2g retention.
This grinder has a different philosophy over the single dose grinders. The Eureka Mignon Libra will be the perfect fit for a very small coffee shop, or for practical hope set-up. You will be able tk set the 1 dose button to purge 3g whenever you want to make sure the retained coffee is fresh.

What is the accuracy over the course of a week or two? As the beans oxidize I’d expect it to grind a different amount
It actually weighs the portafilter as it's grinding so it shouldn't change

Im looking for a grinder that can perfectly dial in grinding for anything. From espresso to french press. Can this do that?
Nope. You'd have to turn the adjustment screw knob way too many times and thus would forget the exact setting you had before
@lijkenkist1 I guess that explains why other coffee people have a bunch of different grinders. Have 1 setting for each one. This is sounding expensive lol

A note: slow motion looks nice, but nearly never sounds nice (at least not without some more ontensive sound design). Allowing basic algorithmic slowing to occur just splits your sample and creates a choppy, noisy result. Instead, try playing with some white noise generation, reverbs, light compression, pitch shifting. Hell, you can even find a faller you like and chuck it in there. A combination of these effects with some of the raw track can help imply slow motion without the more grating choppiness
The hoppers of the mignons look so flimsy. Crazy considering how much they cost
