tried to get on one Wednesday and asked the Merseyrail twitter what the last departure from liverpool central was, the last departure was 16:05 and i arrived just as it closed its doors due to the speed into central and the 508 having broken doors. but happy to listen to this with headphones
It must have been hectic trying to film this and get a TH-cam video uploaded in the shortest time, when so many folk are filming the exact same train. No doubt the first film 'published' will catch the early viewers I have watched a few videos of this same event and somehow, each one is totally different. Later this year, the local Metro service, here in Newcastle will be starting to use new trains too, also from Stadler, in Switzerland. No doubt there’ll be many folk filming the first train here too .. I might even join them.
all late new trains are coming in now after everything tbh it wasnt that busy where i sat wasnt the best to film but i went for it so i guess metro has taken over merseyrail

Ah, I’ve done the complete opposite of this! Glad to see it’s a trainspotter I enjoy watching doing this!

I was on the first ever service, I've never seen so many people on a Kirkby train even during the peak hahahahaha
