** NEW GUINEA PIG FORAGE GUIDE AVAILABLE ** I've just created a forage guide with 20 different forages you can find for your guinea pigs. It's a downloadable and printable pdf or you can use it on your mobile device - available to buy here on Etsy tidd.ly/42eOCnx, Monique x
A really useful and informative video-thanks Monique. Our piggies love apple twigs and leaves to munch on. I would feel fairly confident identifying some of those plants you found but several were new to me and I was urprised to learn some of those are guinea pig friendly so that's great! x :-)
What types of woods are suitable/safe other then apple? I live in the great lakes region of the US and am looking to forage on some of my land. I have hazlelnut trees as I planted it some 20 years ago, but am curious about others.
Thank you for adding that one, they can eat Queen Anne's Lace too :) The only thing is there are some plants that look very similar so you need to be careful. Hemlock is poisonous and looks a lot like Queen Anne's Lace.

That's great! It's surprising how many weeds you can forage for these cute furries!
I forage mainly from my garden where I grow lots of wild stuff for my piggies!
That sounds perfect - there's loads you can grow in your garden that is good for them :)
