I guarantee you 9 times out of 10, a drain and fill like this without unbolting the pan and servicing the filter will make your car last longer than doing it the old school way of taking the whole pan out and servicing everything, etc.
That’s probably from 07-09 camry, 2010 and up had ws transmission which were a sealed unit and didn’t have a dipstick. Plus that’s a 2.4 engine, 10 and up they changed to 2.5
You are absolutely right. I still have camry 10, no dipstic. ATF refilled through fill plug (size 24mm) which behind plastic cover has 2 10mm bolts from left/driver side when take off the wheel.
You just removed some transmission fluid. Maybe only 4 quarts. So you just mixed new fluid with old. There is more than 12 quarts of fluid that needs to be flushed out. This channel is only chasing views. Trust me. I was a Toyota tech.
If you were a Toyota tech you would know you don't need a flush just a change every 30,000 miles 😇 I have over 350,000 on my 2011 Toyota Camry never had a problem with the transmission by just doing the change every 30,000 miles

2011 Camry has a jack point on the bottom side of the radiator support. I can basically throw my jack under there and hit it every time. Doing a fluid change you don't replace the filter, only during flushes

@@bartman8876 you can get a full drain with a proper flush/inline extange. Removing the plug only emptied the pan. There is still all the fluid in the lines, the cooler, and in the actual transmission. But yes a proper flush includes a filter. It's 16 screws including the pan.

I gotta warn everyone doing this - don’t OVERTIGHTEN the drain plug back on. When you try to remove it it’ll strip. After some hard work I got it off with an extractor. Now welded a nut on plug so this doesn’t happen again . Make it far easier to remove.
Never let your transmission fluid get that dirty. Change transmission fluid every 15,000 miles. About once a year. I pump the oil out of the dipstick. So much easier.
Some dealerships and car makers say to change your transmission fluid at 30,000 miles others say more. The Toyota RAV 4 i own the manual says 120 000 miles. Do not think i will go that far but just a few things to concider.
1. This is not a Camry. Modern vehicles come with a CVT trans which does not have a dipstick. 2. You forgot the filter or at least I hope you just forgot to record putting in the new one. 3. What comes out must be measured. Same amount needs to go back in. 4. I admire your cleaning of the drain plug and the area around it. It’s those little things that actually hold importance so kudos on that.

Most people asked about why not changing the AT filter. That's because it not necessary and dealerships don't even change it. Some of these AT filters are located where the tyranny must be disassembled to get to it and not worth the cost. Most AT filters are considered unserviceable.

this is a joke. April fools. i get it now. Nobody use jack when changing the oil. The Oil is not drained properly. It still dripping. Nobody uses the dipstick area in filling the engine oil.

А фильтр поменять ? Там войлок идёт который забивается , и с охлаждения слить ? С муфты слить ? Странная замена так обычно перекупы меняют масло
Это "частичная" замена масла. Отработку разбавляют свежим маслом и называют это заменой. Обычно так делают у дилера пока машина на гарантии.
С коленвала слить с распредвалов слить.
С натяжителя слить.
Все промыть и можно смело заливать серое вещество в черепушку.

Depends on the mileage. You don't flush transmissions past 150,000ish especially if they've never had a flush done.

There's a jack point under the radiator support (exactly where he placed the jack) on these cars. It's literally in the owners manual.

Camry 2011 has a sealed trans in the US
Actually there are drain plugs but you'll never get a full drain due to inside sticking up some. Should be more worried about filter change

30k is ideal. Changing it too often can result in damage as well.

this is a joke. April fools. i get it now. Nobody use jack when changing the oil. The Oil is not drained properly. It still dripping. Nobody uses the dipstick area in filling the engine oil.

That is an older Camry. 2011 doesn’t have a dipstick and is harder to service

I heard you're only supposed to add the amount of fluid that was removed. Otherwise it may ruin the seals and perhaps the gear pump (overfilled).
