First off I appreciate your content im a huge china history fan this channelis everything thank you!❤& I saw uproar in heaven on TH-cam not long ago the 1963 version it was definitely worth the watch though it is lengthy but when you're interested you dont care😆I wonder if they're both the same just under different titles?🤷🏾♂️
Imagin8 has a 31 volume graded reader adaptation of the entire 西游记 novel which uses very few unique words (about 600 for the first book, no more than 2000, if I'm not mistaken, in the entire series). In its entirety, this is a very long adaptation, much longer than anything at that level, which I personally think is a good thing. Highly recommended, along with Mandarin Companion, they put out the best graded readers out there. Their newest, still ongoing, series is an adaptation of 封神榜. I am at a point where I am transitioning to only consuming content made for natives, but the story of that one is so gripping that I guess I'll have to read it to the end. Parenthetically, TeaTime Chinese is the other content targeted at learners I plan to continue consuming for longer, also because I enjoy the content so much.
Dear Nathan, thank you very much for this wonderful project! It's been helping me a lot to improve my Chinese skills. Since you have experience in learning languages and have achieved proficiency in them, I would like to suggest an idea for an episode that could be interesting for language learners in general, especially for those who are learning Chinese and preparing for the HSK exam: What is your opinion about language tests? Have you ever needed to take any language exams? Do you think tests are beneficial for learners in general and can motivate them to improve? What are your thoughts on the new HSK? Are you aware of the HSK format and how it has evolved in recent years? I usually check the new characters I learn from your Podcast on the official HSK website, so that I can know the level they belong to and can also see some other examples in context. Thank you for the amazing work! 谢谢!
你看过《大闹天宫》动画片吗?

Oh yes. Same thing, different choise of word.@@deontesampson1993
我还没有看过大闹天宫的动画片的版。不过我在电视上看过西游记的电视剧. 我最喜欢的人物也就是孙悟空啦。
听你提醒到这个西游记的故事。他让我想念我小时候的回忆。当时每年夏天我都在电视上看这个电影剧。无论有发生什么事情我也一直看❤
很多中国人也有这样的童年回忆。
好聽。謝謝感恩。
