Nah.Rogue 1 is great, but it's completely wrong for anyone 12 or under. That is to say... the ages that most kids get into Star Wars. Edwards gave adults "the star wars they always wanted", which is great, but Star Wars is for children.
Not really, Star Wars is for everyone! And they always said this would be darker. This would be a fantastic movie to show your kids later in life. If you are a good parent, you'll show them the movies (in this order IV,V,VI,I,II,III,VII) and when they think about the first Star Wars movie, they'll be like "You know what? I've been thinking... the finale to the first movie was stupid, how--" and i'll be like, "Say no more Son, I've got something to show you..." AND ROGUE ONE IS WITNESSED FOR THE FIRST TIME!
Afonso Lucas I don't really think Rogue One is a bad movie choice for kids under 12. I mean, obviously some children are too young for it. I simply beleive that most children under 12 won't like it. I think they will find the first 1/3- to 1/2 of the movie completely boring, dry, confusing and uninteresting. I think they will like the action scenes, but that's about it.

I was absolutely touched by R1 and even went to see this movie 4 times in cinemas within two countries，all my friends I brought along to see the film were telling me they nearly cried because of those touching scenes and as a loyal Star Wars fan for almost 20 years myself I have to say TFA loses the essence of Star Wars and R1 just exceeds the quality of some original episodes made by George Lucas！I think LucasFilm should hire Gareth Edwards to direct all three stand alone SW film and even Episode 8 and 9！
