With the prop firms, if you are funded and do well for a year or so, can you transfer funds into another brokerage to reduce fees in the future?

If you do not know how to trade futures before joining a prop firm, probability says you will fail. Sorry to be the realist, that is just a fact. Many people try and many fail. Learn to trade, practice, and open your own account. Just my personal opinion.

I day trade spy and qqq but I make my entries and exits using the ws and nq charts. With futures, will I basically be doing the same thing, just on the es and nq charts with extended trading hours? As far as price action I have to imagine it is the same.

@@ledalumI’m switching because of the bans going on right now with the MT4 platform used to take Forex trades, and now today I found out that FTMO, which is the most popular prop firms for trading forex has banned U.S. residents from getting funded and buying new challenges to get funded.
I think that the U.S. is trying to ban anything Forex for U.S. residents forcing them to trade only U.S. markets and that’s just my opinion I could be wrong

Hi Peachy Trader…so I’ve signed up recently to Apex and am currently doing well in my eval. I just read things online that Apex can be picky about paying out once in PA account. So i understand the rules 30% rule/trailing thresh hold etc but I heard they can just decide they don’t like the way you trade and decide to not pay out….do you have any experience of this?

So how do profits work with prop firms then? Let's say I spend $50, pass, and I turn 50k to 100k, how much of that money is mine? I have to pay $50 a month to keep the account and if I stop paying they take their money back?
How do you trade with a touch pad? Isn't that' really really hard? And it's amazing you are doing it on 1 notebook screen, not 9 monitors. Please show your touch pad technique.

You could start out with a 50k funded account using the prop firm Apex, they charge $167/month. If you use the %80 discount for the first month that would be around $33

It's still only five 24 hour sessions, so I still call that 24/5 at 2:50 because one day's 24 hour session always starts the day before and ends the day of with the market close.
