5 Types Of Graffiti Throwies

Today i want to share 5 types of graffiti throwies. Graffiti has a wide range of styles for theories so in today's video I wanted to highlight a few of them while giving you some pros and cons for each throwie on the list. Some of these are really stylized, while other theories are really simplistic.

for me hollows are the most impressive. you have to have it mastered because you cant cover up your mistakes. also it looks great with drop shadow too

Great videos. Hollows with a force field on a clean wall always look sharp. Love dusty fillins (especially if it's a diss), and diss throwies where the writer uses the person he's dissing's fill or outline to remake it into his own name...they're rare but when done well are amazing.

You make a lot of videos talking about throwies and tips that improve throwies, but could you make a video about how to actually do throwies in the first place? I can't improve off of what's not there.

One liner throwies are sick if theyre done right. Ive spent many pages in a blackbook trying to develope one but ahit always looks so whack. I always like seeing throwies that have points. Whether thats the top of all the letters or bottom, i think its a clean way to add some style and keep some uniformity amongst your letters

The guy on the thumbnail is CEDR. He is from Prague and in my opinion he has some of the best styles out here. His throw ups are sick and his hand styles are even better.

I got a question. I'm new to this and my name is pretty long. Is it OK to sometimes put the name without the vowels to make it shorter but still get the point across?

Shorten it down to an abbreviation or yes maybe a couple vowels. Example. I used to write ZEWOK, to shorten I would do ZWOK which saved me at least a minute and a half on an actual wall or spot. What’s you me name?

My throwie has always been weird. I legit do squares. I just find it easier to put up. But I only do it with certain names. Due to their being better negative space management than a normal throwie I do.

Hey yall trying to get into graffiti, in a bit of a rough prescription drug withdrawal, and just need something to kill time. Anyone have any advice for good markers and other stuff to really get started?

Uni px 30's are a classic. U can fill the silver one with Montana liquid metallic paint when its empty. Sakura solid markers are a go to. U can write on anything and they're cheap. And if you want a mop, most of them perform the same so it's up to preference. I like the grog mini squeezer 10mm personally.

for paint, Bombing Science makes this stuff called dang paint, it's probably the cheapest stuff out there, but my personal favorite high-pressure can is flame orange because they are relatively cheap. I would also recommend getting empty markers and then filling them up with that companys ink or paint. You will save money that way, i would also recommend getting the 600 ml tall cans bc they last longer and if you don't have a lot of room you can carry more of them. My favorite mop is the Grog 20mm squezer.
