Dande is a countryside area of Zimbabwe. The Mbira song Dande is very old and has been played for many generations. The song remembers that Dande has been a spiritual place for Zimbabwean spiritual culture. There have been many powerful Lion Spirits from Dande, and many good healers. Cultural people would have travelled to Dande for healing, and spiritual guidance. Dande people play strong Mbira and Ngoma and hold a lot of ceremonies.
