I've been playing for about 25 years and I just can't play his stuff yet, but it doesn't stop me from trying or wanting to progress. BTW, TH-cam is full of trolls that'll put you down even though they can't do half as good. What kind of amp do you play through?
I wish i had trolls, that's the begining of fame ! well i don't have an amp, as i describe in the text up there, i use reaper and vst, i did use the lepou amps sim, the lecto amp, then i use two cab impulse response loaders (rosen digital pulse and lepou le cab + the same inpulse response find in lepou for both signals). For the first time i used the equalizer to cut the low and high frequencies (you see the curve in the video at one point) in order to emphasize the mids , so the riff could be heard precisely i first did the work on recording screwing many takes, and then i did the video work, playing it again many times to get the shots done, it was hell. as it is the dead end of my abilities, i needed my hands to be warm enough to play the main riffs, and they kept getting cooling again while i was trying to set the focus points with my shitty camera on the tripod turning it all the time to check the dept of field on a reference picture, cause no control screen. i hurt my back trying to maintain the pose. So silly to go trough hell for the sake of trying to re-do a keith merrow video.....but i'm glad i did this!
