I remember my friends and I around the television trying to beat each others scores while singing along to The Offspring. The franchise is now a husk of its former glory. :(
Crazy Taxi, definitely one of the best game of all time. The perfect example that sometimes you don't need hi def graphism and realism. But just a mindless, CRAZY game with good music and funny dialogue.
Dude, not this one but the first Crazy Taxi, I played so often for long periods of time that my thumb went numb for a couple days, man those were the days, getting home from senior year and bustin out some Crazy Taxi, Power Stone 1&2 and King of Fighters on Dreamcast! Miss those days!
haha Nice surprise seeing this review in my subs :) I got the first one about 2 days ago and have pretty much played it for all I can. Can't really do much more but improve my score. Really excited about this one and it's next on my Dreamcast to-get list! :D
Never could get along with this game. Had a hard time learning the map, which felt less varied and more maze-like than the first game. I also think the bright sunshiny California setting works better for the series tonally, versus the harsh imposing lines of NY
Since I was born in 1982, I have to say that I approve of the fact that the 1,982nd video on this page is a review of one of my favorite Dreamcast games.
I love the Offspring. And I love how they are some of the soundtracks for this game! It's crazy to remember graphics one way and then have it shown to you in reality. I am much more generous in memory but it doesn't change how awesome the game is!
Baires Moreno From the review, it sounds like modern releases of the game have stripped out the soundtrack. I for one am getting sick and tired of this draconian rule by the goddamned record "industry." They're a cabal of corporations working to squeeze everyone else for every penny they can get just for the privilege of listening to an artist's work. And mind you, these artists only distributed their works through these bastard corporations. The corporations didn't produce the music, but control its distribution in a very greedy fashion anyway.
The PSP version does include Crazy Taxi 2. Additionally, Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller on the first XBOX included both the Crazy Taxi 1 and 2s maps (a rare chance to play Crazy Taxi 2 by night!) now named West Coast and Small Apple. now you know!
@alonmania Sega Superstars was probably the only EyeToy game set that had any replay value for me. And crazy taxi the only game to use the inbuilt mic to shout "hey taxi !" at the screen. goot times ! ;)
They really should remaster these games. Same wacky physics, re-tooled sound to make it sound better (but still have the original sounds), new, high-poly objects, vehicles, and characters. Pretty much everything be the same except it looks even better than it already did. But, to also have the "revert to original" button like in Halo Anniversary.
wrecking havok and hi speed driving and getting cash fuck yea now this is a game just plain simple fun no headaches and no battles in FPS a true classic
SEGA games always have a crazy original feel to them! :D Infact SEGA's been focusing on Sonic way to much, they need to bring back titles like this and Jet Set Radio! :D Infact, they should make another console, it's a stretch but they did the impossible by taking on nintendo in 1991, and for a while they were actually ahead! :L
Even though I only own Crazy Taxi 3 for the Xbox this series was a hit for me back then. I just wish they would make it compatable on the Xbox 360 already!
I miss the old games. I obviously enjoy the new games... but i miss the old games. Although I have to give it to some of the new game devs out there. We're seeing a lot of new games modeled after the classics. Some even successfully building off of their predecessors. Anyway, Keep up the videos Mark. Need more pinball content!!! xD
if you like this game check out Courior Crisis for the plastation 1. It is pretty much the exact same guy except on a bike. I really liked it growing up.
I'd really like to see you do a Baywatch Pinball Review. xD I'm kind of shocked you haven't by now to be honest. It just seems like a natural fit. lol What story does the backglass tell? xP
@Andigangster how will this affect me,i live in serbia(former yugoslavia-that's in europe)?will they shut down inecom, cuz that would suck, what are the odds for the bill to pass?
The Crazy Taxi games were amazing, some of the best games of all time :) I used to play them all the time :D
I remember my friends and I around the television trying to beat each others scores while singing along to The Offspring. The franchise is now a husk of its former glory. :(
I know right
Crazy Taxi, definitely one of the best game of all time. The perfect example that sometimes you don't need hi def graphism and realism. But just a mindless, CRAZY game with good music and funny dialogue.
Sure wish Sega re-released the other Crazy Taxi game, instead of just the 1st one. I never got to play the other versions.
yeah
Tomb of Infinity threw me off. I used to know it as Lord Karnage from Classic Game Room. :D
Now this brings back memories, played this so much as a kid!

DB Pooper crazy taxi 3 for the original xbox and PC has the best map of them all, a representation of las vegas with deserts, canyons and all!
Since I was born in 1982, I have to say that I approve of the fact that the 1,982nd video on this page is a review of one of my favorite Dreamcast games.
love this game my copy still works till this day in fact i was playing it yesterday with my concept 4 racing wheel
OMG THE MUSIC.. BRINGS BACK DA GOOD TIMES
I love the Offspring. And I love how they are some of the soundtracks for this game! It's crazy to remember graphics one way and then have it shown to you in reality. I am much more generous in memory but it doesn't change how awesome the game is!
You've come thru again!!
i very love when you offroad drive from arrow direction!!
I used to play this soooo much when I was little
The best part of crazy taxi was all those mini games and challenges. I played them soooooo much back in the day
Man, they just bombard these reviews.
You are uploading like it's the end of the world!
That was a great review! I didn't know you could jump in Crazy Taxi 2...
2:04 I love how the two girls in the back are like YEAAAAH FANTASTIC BLAH BLAH BLAH, then at 2:13 you just here screams LOL.
I'm shocked he didn't mention the crazy pyramid mini games as they are the best part of the game, THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN still play them 12 years later.
Crazy Taxi 2 is a PC game too. I remember playing it around while back :D
i had this for gamecube
i loved it
Crazy taxi is what got me into the Offspring!
You're right, Mark. Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2 were both released for the PSP in 1 game.
You gotta love The Offspring, bit of an understatement for me.
Jumping over buses in a convertible taxi full of mimes. That sounds strangely awesome.
The moment i heard "No Brakes" i knew i had to have this game. Playing Crazy Taxi while jamming to that song is an opportunity i cant pass up.
Nice black Dreamcast Mark.
This should be on the next Dreamcast collection for xbox 360 along with Powerstone and Jet set radio!
Does it get any more 90s than The Offspring?

+Baires 456 Did you see that this is a 2001 game?
My first Dreamcast game, although I picked the console up for Jet Grind Radio xD
Finally other Dreamcast Game Thanx Mark!
oh boy this looks awesome
I wish Sega would re-release the Sega Dreamcast THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE
well that was a quiet review
@TheDuke00000 No, it was never released for the PC, only Crazy Taxi 1, and 3 were released on PC.
@firebreathingllama mostly. theres one or two songs from others but they blend in well
This video seriously made me buy the game on Ebay.
I do want this game! :)
I hope it come back on PSN & XBLM :)
this game looks so entertaining.
Crazy Taxi 2 was in the Crazy Taxi 3 game disc for Xbox.
DUUUDE! I loved the first one and how is it that I never heard of this one?! eBay time...
@alonmania Sega Superstars was probably the only EyeToy game set that had any replay value for me. And crazy taxi the only game to use the inbuilt mic to shout "hey taxi !" at the screen. goot times ! ;)
I have crazy taxi 1 and 3 for PC, if these are on PC then this 1 is too
Great review mark
Best driving game ever created. Period.

I loved the first game and I bought the port for the PlayStation 2! I was really dissapointed when they did not port this one to the PS2 as well!
Soundtrack rules! I gotta listen to some Offspring albums tomorow :-)
@IamtheHatMan Awesome arcade conversions! like Sega rally
wrecking havok and hi speed driving and getting cash fuck yea now this is a game just plain simple fun no headaches and no battles in FPS a true classic
Love this music!
Oh man, me and a friend of mine were playing this late last night or was it early this morning.
i loved the soundtrack

Mark, when are you going to upload the original Game Room's review of the first Crazy Taxi?
Gotta love 'em Crazy Taxi!
Crazy taxi is actually one of my earlier games. I got the gamecube, cazy taxi, luigis mansion, and pikimin for christmas when the gmecube came out
Whoa it's like he read my mind I DO want it
Wow, your REALLY good at this game!
Sailor Ranger you're
I want a dreamcast
Nice review, but awwww, no coverage of the mini games?
I wonder if you are going to review crazy taxy 3
I got this game today.
I'm terrible..
..but this game is so much fun!
@7footballfanatic7 AVGN would not be shut down. It clearly falls into fair use since all footage is used for a review.
Even though I only own Crazy Taxi 3 for the Xbox this series was a hit for me back then. I just wish they would make it compatable on the Xbox 360 already!
This game puts the crazy in crazy taxi
1:15 - 2:14 Cheerleaders: OMG! AWESOME! AMAZING! OMG!
2:15 GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRUSHHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH BUMBUMP! *screaming children* Random guy: AHHHH MY LEG!
If your taxi flips or takes too much body damage does it smoke, then burn and explode?
I miss the old games. I obviously enjoy the new games... but i miss the old games. Although I have to give it to some of the new game devs out there. The first one was ace, I thought the second one wasn't too good, the third one was a massive letdown, but Fare Wars on the PSP is ace.
I once loved Walla Walla by The Offspring. Then I played Crazy Taxi 2 for more than 15 minutes.
I did want this Game and Now I have it 8D
I have this, but I'm just too familiar with the CT1 tracks to let it go!
Well this sure beats timid taxi 2!
I miss the Dreamcast days you should do a review if you haven't already on Jet Grind Radio
Is the offspring the entire sound track, because that would be awesome.
I've got this game on the PSP :3 Very fun indeed
Crazy! That's it. That's all I got to say. Crazy Taxi.
if you like this game check out Courior Crisis for the plastation 1. It is pretty much the exact same guy except on a bike. I really liked it growing up.
At least we have the occasional MGS or GTA game from time to time. Though I do miss when there actually was thousands of different and unique games.
THE OFFSPRING!!!
Ever played the darkstalkers series on the playstation?
This and the Outrun series are tied for me, but then again Outrun is Sega too. Sega just did it right.
Review the Dreamcast serial port SD card adapter reader!!!
Jumping taxi's and the offspring, what a great game
I had this on my X-Box :)
I'd really like to see you do a Baywatch Pinball Review. xD I'm kind of shocked you haven't by now to be honest. It just seems like a natural fit. lol What story does the backglass tell? xP
you should play "Taxi 2" on PAL dreamcast, game is ridiculous
@Postbus22 You can say that. But in Glitter Oasis and this but in night is really different.
With as much love for Crazy Taxi as Mark has, I'm surprised he hasn't reviewed Simpsons Road Rage yet
@Andigangster how will this affect me,i live in serbia(former yugoslavia-that's in europe)?will they shut down inecom, cuz that would suck, what are the odds for the bill to pass?
what car is the 3rd car in the video was that a plymouth fury
DREAMCAST FTW!!!!!
Looks like fun. :D
@7footballfanatic7 thanks for the chain letter
how funny it is that 11 year ago you made a video like this without using the word "uber"?
@yoodledoodle14 they did make a 3rd one in 2002
you should review eighteen wheeler for dreamcast!
