  • The Allosaurus hatchlings have a lot to learn when it comes to feeding themselves. Stunning clip from 'Walking with Dinosaurs'.
    Broadcast in 1999, Walking with Dinosaurs set out to create the most accurate portrayal of prehistoric animals ever seen on the screen. Combining fact and informed speculation with cutting-edge computer graphics and animatronics effects, the series took two years to make.

      A 2 ton predator isn’t a good house pet. Just the space issue alone is a problem. After a decade it would be too big to fit in most living rooms.
      Though after a certain point it would get so big humans won’t be worth the effort of hunting.

      Please take some time to check this comment out.
      If you’ve lied, that’s a sin. If you’ve stolen, that’s a sin. If you’ve lusted after anyone, hated anyone in your own heart, and put God’s holy Name in the place of a cuss word- OMG, and the such, which you just have-, you a have committed adultery and hate in your heart, and have blasphemed the Name of God, Who made you and Who is righteous and holy and good, deserving of all respect and honor and glory.
      God is good, and we are all evil, having sinned and fallen short of perfection. God, being perfect, has perfect standards.
      None of us can work our ways to heaven, to eternal life, happiness, and freedom from the very things we do each and every day which go directly against God. For any good work, there is more than likely to be a multitude of bad in our lives that can’t be covered by a good work done by our own hands, or any other faulty, sinful human being- for no good deed done by us sinful beings can cover sin.
      God, Who is a good and righteous Judge, won’t leave any sin uncovered, because to Him all sins are plain as day and more serious than we could ever imagine. The pit of eternal punishment, which is Hell, is the destination for all sinners who, by our nature, are against God- rebels against Him Who alone is good. We are deserving of righteous judgment.
      However, He is also merciful, having given His Son Jesus Christ as an eternal sacrifice, pouring out His wrath against our sin upon Him in our place, so that through His death we may receive reconciliation to God, and by His resurrection we can be justified.
      What we all need to do is turn from our sins and our works that can’t save us, and trust in the Lord Jesus- His Deity, His death being enough to cover our sins, and in His resurrection from the dead. There is hope for anyone to be saved from the judgement that awaits us, but it is only in Christ.
      He will dwell within us and change us- He will give us a new heart and new desires, which seek to do what He wants, and to honor Him.
      Turn to God.

    Ok people. Scientists know how dinosaurs behaved in many aspects by looking at the shape and size of their brains and then comparing it to a similar (brain wise) modern animal. U can even look at their bodies and teeth, claws and tails, thus telling u the way they hunted, fed, ran and bred. There are some aspects that are speculative and are guessed. Its as close as we can get until further discoveries.

    • @tradingpost2472
      @tradingpost2472 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But no matter how many animals they compare there brains to these animals are not None Avian Dinosaurs & they would act much differently as they looked, we can guess but never know too much about concerning those Dinosaurs as we have little to compare them with, don't say "Crocs or Birds" as they use there brains for there way of life not a T.rex or Brontosaurus ect! We have to rely on Docus that have Paleontologists of note like Bob Backer or Phil Curry, Michael Benton ect!

    • @midiaoudiallo8823
      @midiaoudiallo8823 7 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      +Michael Taylor every animal uses its brain as a way of life....
      Thing is we can never know the intelligence of an extinct taxon. But the usage of phylogenetic bracketing can give us an idea of the behaviours of said animals. The body type can give ideas as to the diet. Ichnofossils reveal behavioral patterns (paths taken to a watering hole, or catching prey). And even the environment itself reveals a lot. Also, the brain to body size ratio theory is very flimsy. I have my own issues regarding it, especially knowing that many avians today basically ignore its existence. But nonetheless.
      As awesome as this documentary is, as said, it is a guess based on the current knowledge available to the teams behind the films. Of course walking with dinosaurs as a series is well known for taking artistic liberties (Utahraptor in Europe, massive Ornithoceirus which in fact ahould be a different species, Tropeognathus, and the morrison formation being portrayed as a dry region/ fully forest or-->

    • @midiaoudiallo8823
      @midiaoudiallo8823 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      +Michael Taylor ---> fully aracauria plains), but it attempted to be a docuseries to portray these creatures as animals. This probably wasn't even the behavior of allosaurus. If anything the chicks were precorial. They were pretty good at finding food with a well prepared body. The models are quite off though.

    Fun fact the Allosaurus nickname is “the lion of the Jurassic” there’s Laos theories that they lived and hunted in family units and I’m a supporter of that theory.

    In a future dinosaur documentary I would like to see Allosaurus or another Jurassic predator hunt Brachiosaurus. Either that or other Brachiosaurs being hunted by large theropods.

      VenatorAcclamator even in JPOG Brachiosaurus scares EVERY predator away,they don't even make an effort to attack. People call T-Rex the king of the dinosaurs,but if these documentaries and games are correct,maybe the title belongs to the brachiosaurus.

    • @tradingpost2472
      @tradingpost2472 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brachiosaurus was far too large for the weak jawed Allosaurus, thats why Allosaurs had the lowest PP ratio anywhere compared to anyother preditory Dinosaur of any other time in the Mesozoic!
