As long as the player know how to use s3 properly, she's very broken. If i still the beginner player, i will think she's bad to use due to her suicide skill.
The thing i like about ak is that even though these characters are hella broken, they still need some sort of positioning and strict timing to actually pull off these kinds of stunts, which means they're not braindead broken.

XD The fact you can legit 2 person this fight is just amazing and hilarious. Every raves on SilverAsh till the Demon lady kicks in the house.
I think its pretty important to get the timing right. Without Max Pot, this wouldnt be possible because as you can see at the start he barely could put thorns at the start. Wrong timing would allow one enemy to get leaked. However in terms of dp cost, if you have pot1 surtr and thorns, you can probably make do with a e2 texas in your team
I was excited for this character at first, but now I am worried. Surtur could break this game, just like Eyja and SA, even if she has some limit like Amiya’s s3. Eyja is a ranged character, and SA is not effective to high defense enemy. But Surtur has both Eyja’s and SA’s advantages. She basically stands anywhere she want, has just 1 more costs than SA, deals more damages to high magic resistance enemy than Eyja, and quarantined 8 seconds surviving time... I am not sure how they’re gonna make this game balanced in the future. 😕
She still not as broken as SA or Eyja She has limited range which is not suitable against high HP mobs unless its a straight line She also cant attack air enemies She definitely excel against high armor/resistance enemies like Patriot, but SA and Eyja still superior than her in many other way

But yes i doubt she can be as useful as SA, his insane range and his talent is still something nobody can replace. Not sure about Eyja, though. Still waiting for more test, but i can see Surtr having more potentials in hard contents like CC.
They only did the Ursus Event because of the empty weeks in CN back then. So, we were supposed to have NOTHING at all for a month or two before W event along with the anniversary. So yea, it's only to make up for the empty weeks and that we won't rush like CN right now where there is almost no rest.

Thorns take care of the mobs while Surtr takes care of the boss. I don't see why people compare them on who's stronger. They practically have 2 different roles.

You should all be glad this is a tower defense not a RPG... If someone as powerful as Surtr comes out in a gacha RPG it basically means whether all your previous characters are useless after, or the company making the game is planning to shut down.

Its all luck if you can get them, you can not get them and just go No Gacha and still work if ur just playing the main storyline
