can you tell me if you can open the lens of this camera to clean if there is fungus?

You can open the lens by some little screws on it. I found this interesting page, which explains how to do it step by step:
      canon-s8-repair.yolasite.com/814-lens-repair-or-replace.php
(I'm not the owner of the linked page)
But it's a risky operation. I have never tried it personally so I can't guarantee the result.
If you still want to do it, please leave a short comment to let us know if you succeeded, it can be useful for many people.

They don't make 1.3 volt batteries anymore, what can I use instead??? 1.5 can I not use it will damage the camera over time but what about 1.2 volt ?? or 1.35 volt???

The best option are the WeinCell 1.35V (link: amzn.to/3Qxl5jZ ). The voltage is pretty much the same as the originals and unlike regular (alkaline) batteries they do not lose voltage during their life.
Little trick to extend the life of your WeinCells: when you are not using them close the small holes on the positive side with tape.
Technical explanation: Different voltage does not ruin the camera but it will confuse the exposure meter (the orange bar you see here 01:27), which will tend to overexpose or underexpose the film. You can manually compensate for this error by exposing more or less than the exposure meter recommends.

@@matteocaroli Bro thank you so much for the very quick and educated response:) Im graduating from High School next week and just bought the Canon 814 and everything works besides me not having the Weincells:) I live in Denmark, so I hope we got the correct ones, otherwise I'll check with my local camera shops:)
Thanks again - love your channel
