This game looks a very cool experience. I'm going to play it. When I was a kid, I had zero knowledge in english, so I played all my games without understand anything, so the lack of translation would not be a problem to me xD
i love chill games like these. i like to play games to chill out and a game that is about chilling out is something that i absolutely adore. i swear, if you find more of these please review them if you have the time. they're little things that no one should miss out on.
Such a beautiful and cozy game. It just screams summer and it’s a damn shame it never made it to the west. Thanks for the great review though so we can experience it in some way!
It's a shame that games like this go under the radar. I found it while scrolling through PS2 video game soundtracks, I really liked how it sounds, and now seeing the gameplay, I specially like how it looks. Just beautiful.
Man, Millenium Kitchen's creations are truly a work of art. We're just really fortunate to be able to play Attack of the Friday Monsters on the 3DS, since it is their only game that were ever released outside of Japan. I just wish there's a team that would pick any title in the Boku no Natsuyasumi series and translate them into English.
Maybe if I ever experienced it, maybe I could rp that I'm a English boy with amnesia from a shipwreck, and the family took me in, and they decided to have a chill summer at this bed n breakfast spot😂...
Boo where's the review of the third game! You have ruined my summer Hiki-chan! The true question is though, can the main character drown? :D My question was not answered. :( Was an alright review, a bit short for my taste. :)
Never heard heard of this game before, but holy shit this looks so far up my alley they're gonna have to cut me open to get it back out.
Now I know where you found about the game, i cought you red handed 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
@@hadix7x Pretty sure they're friends or know about each other.
this game makes me feel like I am Boku, and this is a summer holiday I don't remember I had. This is interactive art at its finest.

This game makes me want to cry from happiness, it gives me such a strong sense of nostalgia, I never even played these games!

Just started playing this after studying Japanese for whole two years and I'm quite enjoying it, gotta get a ps3 for the sequelー
This game got an english translation!
If the game's POV is like when boku is diving, this game will be even so much fun to play
the artstyle is so good, such a nostalgic mix
This was comfy fam. I think you should adopt the shorter format to put something out between the more in-depth videos.

You were cool before Tim Rogers. I got into this series with Boku 3 for PS3, but I own them all now. It's an awesome series.
lol, love the Channel name.
(also yea, *DOPE DRAWN BACKGROUNDS* in the game)
Wait, there's no translation?
Wow that game looks ultra chill, i like it
The character reminds me of Ness from Earthbound
This is the second channel now that I hit the like button even before watching the video.. so I dont forget!! Well done Miles :)
really love the graphics for this. it sorta reminds me of roommania on the dreamcast in a weird way. what a really neat discovery
Thank you. I saw a clip of this game years ago, and always wanted to see more. Very iyashikei .
I find it very uncanny that my dad had a registered business called millennium kitchens....
And they made like shelves, cupboards, counter tops, etc.
Splendid review of a fascinating game! I loves Attack of the Friday Monsters, so this could be a game for me!
No good at Japanese, but I’m trying...
Heard about this series because it was Negishi's favorite game in the Detroit Metal City movie. I'll have to find a way to import and play it.

Good news! the millennium kitchen shin chan game is coming west!
@@HikikomoriMedia Truly!
@@HikikomoriMedia btw there is an English patched version online.
このゲームは、日本ならではのゲームです。ストーリー展開、構成、風景描写、昭和50年頃の日本の子供達の夏の過ごし方を、忠実に再現してたりしてますから。海外のゲームには、こういったゲーム、ないですよね?
We have the Shin Chan Boku game released by Millenium Kitchen. Also, Attack of the Friday Monsters.
My childhood ♥
This game just got an unofficial English translation. All the voices are still in Japanese but the text is translated.
The game now has an English translation.
How you feel now the patch is out?
This was my Favoriteeeee! game ever. Thx for sharing dear!

I’d recommend looking into toro to kyuujitsu, it does something very similar to this except all the backgrounds are full motion videos
If only this series lived on in the switch library 😅
The director of this game is releasing a Switch game next month with a similar format in the Crayon Shin Chan world.

This game was translated
The first game (or this one?) have a creepy glitch

I saw this in some game store a while ago and i remembered about it today so i googled it and the first thing that came up was gay hentai

Japanese people need a game about vacation because life there is just so harsh, its pretty sad if you think about it.
pssst.....it has had a translation patch released :P
