Plateup is if overcooked and cooking mama meshed together and made a roguelike, you create a restaurant as a group and have to survive to your 15th day. If a single customer is un happy, the whole restaurant closes down.

A single person walks home from work after working overtime, tired from hard work, tummy growling, they remember the place where they went to eat with friends the other day.
The pizza was good, the service was fast, and their coffee was strong enough to revive the dead, albeit a bit frozen.
They walk into the restaurant and sit down. The waiter shouts 'Single person. Loser in the house!'
Had the person been dreaming that the service had been good? The pizza has a distinct flavor of dish water. It also felt like it was made yesterday, and frozen overnight.
Dejected, and hurt by the waiter's derogatory tone, the single person walks home, the taste of dirty dishwater still lingering in their mouth.

It was so awesome seeing you play with someone who had just as much interest and experience in the game and it's optimization as you. I am also really glad the opportunity to say "'za's" lowered in frequency cause it was the first time i ever understood anyone's issue with the word "moist".
Agreed, people saying 'Za's' bothers me much more than people saying 'Moist' for whatever reason

At 25:40. I can see how kitchen could be even more automated.
1 smart grabber of clean dishes for the x4 sink into rack, 1 grabber from rack to auto plater, auto platter aimed at portioner.
Whoever does the dishes would legit just be stuck in that corner with no escape, but as long as other plater can keep an eye on coffee it should be fine.

I would say rotate the pizza making to the top right corner, move the coffee making into the dining and use that backroom for coffee tables. This way you open up all your doors and overall will have more space to move around.
It wouldn't work without a bunch of coffee tables unfortunately since they have diner groups ranging from 1-5.

i think i lost a braincell watching them trying to figure out the coffee conveyors after they moved it to the top room

Daaaaang that one table changing the location burnt it good stuff
That and the bottom table's grabber just refusing to reset the filter for the longest time, and Stanz insisting that it was working despite there being dirty plates on it that weren't moving at that exact moment.
1:07:26 I would get rid of one of the tables for coffee placement and move all the coffees down one so i can just make that hallway full of 3 top coffee tables
i think the reason the smart grabber doesn't work for auto-cofee is that it will prioritize the cup being brewed instead of the regular empty ones, regular grabber just picks regular empty cups no matter what the machine is doing at the time
Regular grabber will also pull brewing coffee but only once it's done, that is why it broke at one point and had to rearrange it so it would keep working with full cups in the loop
@@Soken50 also the reason it didn’t really work in the top room ( well ofcourse it worked but not like before ) is because instead of the smartgrabber grabbing coffee it got coffee pushed onto
This game is so satisfying to watch when all the cooking part was automated

The freezer storage was extremely overkill. They almost never grabbed from them, especially the coffee, which already has a buffer size of 11 coffees with only one freezer, more than there are chairs

Don0t forhet about the Ford method of production, a line.... combine directly in the conveyour line facing combiner to the line. First node of the line would be the flouer and oil to make dough, up the convetour line has to be the sauce firts and then the chesse. All this on the principal conveyour line.
I just tried to automate a pizza run... but didn't get a grabber til day 14 X.x Despite multiple rerolls
Edit: Pizza doesn't burn in the oven if you leave the door open. I've stored on in there for most of a day and the bar doesn't move.
The seeds have the same drops. So you could try their seed and automate with it

I’m not to the end yet but I get the feeling they will wished they used one of the frozen prep for pizza instead of having 20 frozen coffees
1:28:00 I assume it works because the smart grabbers on each corner only cares about output (pushing out), it won't stop pushing just because the input (what it wants) is different, because the normal grabbers are pushing into the smart grabbers. The normal grabbers matter!
Oh right, the smart grabbers prioritize taking the correct item *without* caring about any action that's going on, unlike normal grabbers that will wait until an action is done.
The problem the auto coffee was facing was that once the output was full, the brewed coffee had nowhere to go except onto the dumb grabber. Thankfully the spots you put the dumb grabbers made them force the brewed coffee through regardless of the smart grabbers setting.

cheese combiner goes on the safety hob. that way it leaves a path to move the sauced crust and have still have space for pizza in / out on the hob

14:00 Why would you take the grabber from the dishwasher rather than just taking half a second at the beginning of the round to move the oil once onto the combiner?
Because hindsight is 20/20 and it's far easier to make that decision as a viewer who has 0 anxiety or as in-depth thought process than those who are actively playing it, probably.
@@Rufio20008 well I've fully automated pizza and did it that way the first time so it wasn't hindsight. They even mentioned doing that earlier.

The reason the coffee messed up when put in the other room is because instead of pulling with smart you pushed with dumb
You just need 1 smart grabber for coffee just to grab empty cups thats all then coffee is sorted

Does grabbing flour into sink automatically use the water? Or did they do something special for it to use it?
You need to combine dough with oil, they have a combiner on the side with oil on it. Not sure why they are using sink lol
Dropping flour into the sink automatically completes the first level of kneading, thus turning it into dough. If they had tried to use a mixer instead of the sink, without a smart grabber, it would mix it all the way to pie crust.
Although it looks like they do have a smart grabber there. Either way, a sink is instant and maybe free while a mixer takes time and costs money.

Smart grabber only filters upon grabbing. Dumb belts are putting cups/coffee on the smart grabber without having the smart grabbers grabbing. In bref, smart grabber acts like dumb belts when they are receiving from the sides.

To speed up the auto cooking of the pizza could u use a GasOverride to speed it up and still not burn the pizza
Yeah, how does that rock paper scissors of the safety hob vs. G.O. work? Would it just make the safety hob hit near the same speed as a danger hob but never burn even though the G.O. makes things burn faster?

If you haven't figured it out through the other comments yet, the reason the onion rings aren't needed is because the metal tables perk is that all sides become optional. Ergo you only give them the sides for more money but never NEED to. Hence why metal tables are GOATed for most people.

How come the customers are depostiing all their dirty plates on one of the three tables after eating instead of each and every one of them leaving their plate on the table they sat on? Is this some sort of option/card that can be unlocked?
no the game just auto puts all the dishes on the last table placed (the one with the number on top of it)

Why does the plates pile up on one table? Is that a glitch or something?
Perhaps not a bug, but the way the coding of the game works is that if you have a larger, conjoined table then the one table that has the #of how many seats are available is also the space where the dishes are piled up. So they reorganize the tables by adjusting the table(s) closest to the counter last so that the # is set within reaching distance.

How do you dictate that they leave their plates on that end table for the grabbers? Mine always leave their dishes at the other end and my grabbers won't take them.
The table that has the number of seats above it is where they put the plates, and you can change that by putting that table down after the others
