For the map with the giants you can just go demoknight with half zatoichi. Not only can you speed yourself up, you can instakill someone and get your full health back.

nah 90% of the time your team just stacks on flag waiting to be giant afk so your actual giant drown in frontline with no help . not even were they doing the muti giant bug (by simple as the drop intel key)
and the exploit that allows you to have multiple giants just turns the game into a beautiful fever dream plus if u are a glitched spy giant you can actually cloak!

Also I haven't tried out Helltrain yet, but hoooly crap, am I missing out. It's like the convoy from Unreal Tournament, but suited to TF2, and the aesthetics look incredible. Wow
I advice you take a moment to admire the scenery, the trains travel through portals to different landscapes and on each warp, a giant slot machine appears, its definitely my favorite map
Awesome that you mentioned unreal tournament, i can remember playing so many hours of it against bots back in the day
@@Vorobey69 It was my childhood TF2 before I got my hands on the real TF2 xD. Despite not being able to find many online games (and even if I did, MY GOD, I got my ass completely handed to me, stayed the hell away from multiplayer after some unfortunate matches), I just loved playing with bots.
@@velocilevon the map reminds me a lot of convoy. I don’t think it’s a Halloween version of it, but it looks a lot like it.
The moving map concept is so underutilized, maps like convoy, face and phobos in UT were my favorites because of the sense of movement and atmosphere
fun fact about the bazaar bargain, if you have multiple heads and a demoman kills you with the eyelander (or either of the reskins) he will steal those heads. The bazaar bargain is confirmed a sword gun

cursed soul for soldier is awesome. it gives the soldier unique "brains" voice lines when you hit battle cry.
you can even spam it: "I have returned from the grave to give the living BRAINS"
That in combination with the brain maggot is constant trashtalk by the soldier, I love it!
for those curious about their being multiple giants, its a glitch that delfy showcased and now everyone is doing it....
As of release the exploit has been patched.

The next time you are spy with a knife that is not the spysicle and a heavy goes into eating mode right in front of you, and nobody else is around, taunt kill the heavy. Sooooo satisfying.

voro, some halloween cosmetic can be "recraft" using the rebuild headgear in the crafting menu, im not sure what determine this, some halloween items doesnt do this, but some can be used to craft a non halloween restricted cosmetic

The reason why people are able to go out of bounds so easily on new maps is because valve fucked something up in a recent exploit with skybox collission. So there are a few halloween maps that you can just jump out of the map in now. I don't know the spot in crasher but the multiple giant exploit has been patched as of the release of the video.
Side note, there are a ton of places in spooky ridge where you can casually leave the map and you just ignore the skybox.
Good video. On spookeyridge those portal things can be used to travel around the map. The ones in spawn are useless and just there for demonstration, but the other ones are amazing. It's basically the best halloween map for ninjaneering (or spy). ENORMOUS back area with loads of places to hide a tele and you can invisibly run behind the enemy team.

On Spookyridge besides the coffins that turn people into skeletons those portals are used to teleport you to the location they show.
Those purple scars is the exits. One time on this map I used one as a Heavy to get behind the enemy and I mowed them down.
I rarely see people make full use of it though. I did wish the map was either bigger (3 or 4 caps) or multi stage.

You set out specifically for evil loadouts, yet your heavy primary wasn't the Natasha and your Scout secondary wasn't the Criticola.
One of my favourite “evil” loadouts is the direct hit + the buff banner. The simple fact the direct hit alone can get random crits is satanic LMFAO

I wouldn't consider it evil since it takes a lot of skill to use and you don't have any self sustain. It's more of a hipster load out that nobody things much of until he starts dominating the other team.
This is also what Id call the bazzar bargan cozy camper stock melee. A real evil sniper load out is Anger, (hat) stock sniper rifle, jarrite, bushwacka.
Sniper in the end isn't really evil dependent on his loadout, the better a sniper is when if the rifle can headshot the more evil the sniper is though to be fair.

Unfortunately, the weapon is even more stupid than that, because it caps out at _6_ heads.
Actually according to data mining it caps out at 8 but it scales slower starting at 3 heads and the charge time difference per head gets really really fucking small as you get more heads. This is to the extent that there's a diffrence between 6 and 8 and 7 and 8 but it's so small it's essentially nonexistant.

Damn it nade me so long to realise that scout's weapon called "shortstop" are named after a baseball position.
The reason you get souls is if you are close to them after someone dies, it gives priority to the one who killed them tho, but you just walk by them.

I think the skeletons are not lagged, it depends on the lerp, if it is as low as possible, which is 15.2, they will look like this to obtain a more real-time image

The skeleton animations are apparently only patched if you have default interp settings. Dont remember what the default is but if you set it back it works

You get souls for a variety of things like killing players, getting assists on kills, the cart being pushed, a point captured, etc. Of course you only gain them while alive and sometimes dying the second you get a kill means you miss out on souls.
Crasher is a very new gamemode that needs some fixing like the fact giants can drop the bomb/intelligence and pass on the giant effect to other players. Clearly needs some fixing/balancing.
The way he pronounced "conniver" made me laugh quite a bit.
Crit-a-cola Force-a-Nature is my most favorite combo, it just deletes things at point blank.

Helltrain is a reskin of ctf_convoy. I really liked the way it was decorated.
reforge the halloween hats into random regular hats in the crafting. you can use 2 full moon exclusive hats and turn them into one that works always. free hats yay

You're kinda playing the portal map wrong lol you have portals to go to flank and stuff that's why it has tight corridors nice vid tho
Hey you gotta play heavy with the holiday punch on crasher as giant.
Or aginst the other giant. It makes it easier to sneak around just being a mitten spy and making the other giant laugh. If the other giant sees you comming and knows what they're doing they can just spam jump and completely invalidate your strategy of trying to make them laugh by trying to get into their melee range as the slowest class in the game, now made even slower by being a giant.
This is less true if the other giant is a heavy but if the other giant is a heavy you're most likely dead or crippled to the point of never reaching the other gate with out dying if you get into their melee range as a gigantic heavy that litterly everyone can se and is constantly trying to kill.
If the other giant isn't a heavy and doesn't know what they're doing and let you into melee range when you could just shred through their health in seconds with crits at that distance, then sure, go nuts.
But at that point you might as well just use persian perswader and Charge-n-targe to get free charge off them then run past the other giant and simply cap while pretty much unopposed.

Let's be honest, Helltrain is the best map of them all, in any Scream Fortress this map is the best, not only because looks cool, but because all the things that happens , is insane, yes it can be tough to look at it, but daaamn it's worth , it's amazing.
And hell of a vid Voro i don't get why the Bonk in the Scout makes it "evil" i mean is not a wep , you can't hurt anyone i think the most evil secondary of Scout is the guillitine , because it charges quickly it does damage and more if you bleed. and is pretty good, the only bad thing its that it has an arc and is hard to see where u aim it

One thing I don't like about Scream Fortress is that I cant be bothered to do contacts. I really don't get how people enjoy doing them in tf2 or in other games (battlepasses and stuff). Even if reward is really good they feel very tedious to complete and aren't really interesting by any means. Much rather play the game without any objective in mind or do some fun challenge with an unusual weapon combo or playstyle

Guess what, it got worse. Because of an update, some how, there's now just a hole in the final point where the book is where you just fall through the floor and you can just jump outside of the map where the sky box just ceases to exist in a ton of spots.

I also agree that Spookeyridge isn't very good. Especially when you're trying to do the contract. On the previous maps, I had the contract done within 2 rounds, but Spookeyridge took me like 5.
I think it's about the design of it. It just doesn't flow with the Halloween vibe at all.
I have yet to play screamfortress 2022, but this year the Maps looks really good, maybe a bit too dark if i have a concern
I feel the same. Lots of these maps are a bit too dark. Honestly, just like some older halloween maps.
