In your book, on page 33, you mentioned that the key for an investor is to stay in the market consistently for 15 years, rather than entering during favorable times and exiting during unfavorable ones. However, on page 19, you emphasized the importance of risk control for investors, stating that preserving wealth is more crucial than simply making profits (as depicted in the diagram). Could you kindly elaborate on this apparent paradox?

1. a small case - stock allocation related question. I have invested in both (V2030 & Small/Mid-cap) over 2 months ago. Including the gains in these months, the allocation /weightage of stocks at current prices has naturally changed compared to the suggested allocation as on date. Apart from the rebalancing advised by you, should other rebalancing also be done regularly?
2. Can you please analyse GHCL ...stock is down 30% from top - Highly retailized stock (diversifed shareholding), financials have been steady - 3 yr CAGR 11% Rev, 42% PAT, EBIT - 27%.

One thing i am guessing that you made money in L&T during 2003-08, that's why you always discuss it and everytime I notices this as I work in L&T and got 2700 shares as ESOP (till now 500 realized). Be mindful of the fact that Mac is diversifying its menu card (Burgers/Chicken/Coffee/Desserts) under the same name but Jubilliant has failed to do so while getting into Dunkin Donuts, Popeyes, Hong's, Ekdum. Rest growth story remains the same for both companies!!
