Great finds and a great video. Congratulations. It's a great feeling finding a TH and STH in the wild. It took me nearly 9 months of searching before I found a STH. You've got a new sub.

@@TheWheelCollector Well, the first one I found was the Green '81 Camaro from 2022. I found it a Kroger when I was on a trip in Indiana. I found it along with 7 Gotta Go regular THs from 2022 (I only took 2 and left the other 5 for other hunters). Then, when I got home and unpacked, I had the two Gotta Go's but no Camaro. I have no idea what happened to it. It was lost somewhere between checkout and the car. That was a bummer.
The next one I got was just recent. A red Lotus Evija. I got it in a 2023 "E" case that I bought to open for my TH-cam channel.
I look in the stores every chance I get. I've found several regular THs in the wild but only the one lost STH.
I just found the Renault sport super and five donut drifters! I left three behind hidden inside the bin

Welcome to the BlackHoleHobby that is collecting Diecast.....I've been avidly collecting for almost 6 years and I can tell you there's no end 😂 we race them and I have begun selling off some of our collection, I have thousands of cars
I can imagine mate... I got into it with my son just buying the odd car here and there, but the black hole has begun... 😅
I can't stop looking for them and picking up more and more. I've always loved cars and I have always been a collector so to me it's such a fantastic thing to collect!
Learning more and more about it as I only started collecting hw at the start of the year!

@@TheWheelCollector I started buying hotwheels around 9 years ago. Only started collecting rth and sth around the time as u mate. Love ur videos, keep it up (I recommend doing an upload schedule btw, like every friday or every 3 days etc up to you what the schedule is but I recommend doing a schedule!) ❤

If you are in the UK I would advise going to Halfords I have found they seem to have this case stocked in a lot of them. If not I wish you luck in finding one mate!

Yay another UK hunter! Most on here are yanks. My answer to your casting question is any Kool Kombi I don't yet have. By far my favourite casting.
Oh yes! The kool kombi is such a nice casting and the yellow variant looks great, nice choice mate. Happy to have more UK collectors in the community, I am quiet new to it all only started this year but I'm learning fast, very fun to collect and can't get enough of them haha.

And I really loved your video,bro forgot too mention that before,so a car you looked at, its a medium run car,one of the "art works"the 08 ford focus, with the yellow windows,right?! About 2 months ago I found that car (id send a picture but it won't let me) shes backwards in her package,!!! ,its only the 2nd time I've found a car like that,sooo always watch for this mistake,its about a 7 to 10 year find! Just always keep your eyes out for this,so it won't get past you if you ever come across one,,and keep up the fun videos l really loved it!

It took me four years of collecting before I found one in 2018 (a green Camaro ZL1, Poundland in Gt Yarmouth, cost me £1!), but then I have found one every year since. 2019 purple 911 GT3RS, 2020 green Pagani, 2021 a Datsun 620 found amongst my collection, 2022 red Shelby Cobra and last year, this same Lotus.
I am afraid to say I can trump your finds here, as I found this Godzilla from a local toyshop, then ANOTHER one a week later in that store, then weeks after found this Lotus STH at the same shop too.
Two months after that, that same shop had more imported stock and no lies, ANOTHER STH Lotus Evija. Better still my friend was able to get it with staff discount down to £1.48 for the Super!!
They are a superb shop for some stock, which is imported that isnt always available in Britain, hence why I was able to find the HTF Lamborghini Huracan 610-4 Factory 500hp in black & I am only one missing from collecting all of the 15x Huracan 610-4s made (Forza Entertainment release is a difficult one).
I've searched Hothweels boxes throughout shops, but i've had no luck. After all, they are rare, and it's unlikely you will find one

I had no idea the Godzilla r32 is a hard one to find. My local Tesco had 3x of them in the other day!
Yeah I think it's a very desirable one mate, I saw alot of facebook/discord group members searching for them and scalpers asking for crazy prices. I really do like a good skyline.
(I saw some 20x packs of hot wheels with 3/5 of them in... will keep my eye out for those, I like to keep some mint and others open to film.)
@@TheWheelCollector I wouldn't normally have picked one up as it's not really what I collect but it's such a cool casting. I've started collecting the odd castings I really like just for some variety
I'm 15 plus years into collecting and have aloft full. Supers, rlc, ferraris, error cars, Car culture, team transport, convention and everything in between. Probably 10k or more clogging up my loft. I've backed off recently as its getting ridiculous but I enjoy your enthusiasm for the hobby. It's quite refreshing for an old cynic like me.

I am now about 4 months into the hobby and I am learning more and more each day.
I have always enjoyed being a collector of old toys, games and memorabilia but I stumbled across a few Hot Wheels I really liked in January... and then they just started multiplying from there! Storage will soon be an issue haha but I have no plans to stop collecting the castings I enjoy, absolutely love the way we have TH, STH and the Chase cars also + I have always been into performance/rally/JDM cars so the hobby is even more enjoyable! Thanks again mate and glad to have a veteran collector here!
i found 2 Godzilla cars at Walmart one afternoon. i was going to buy both of them but a teen age collector happened to be in the isle next to me he looked all heart broken when i told him i got the 2 them. I'm not a monster so i gave him 1 and told him not open it, that there were plenty of other cars he could open if he felt the need. the young man assured me he would not open it.
The biggest of respects to you Mark. That's the difference between scalpers and collectors I guess, we have a heart haha

And I have been a big collector of Pokemon cards, Star Wars (anything) and I did start a Funko Pop collection mostly films and tv characters (game of thrones, lord of the rings, starwars and so on) im coming up to 2 months into the hotwheels collecting and man its good absolutely loving it. I've started about 5 weeks ago & I've already got around 150 cars. I've bought specific cars for my diorama from the store. Found one regular treasure hunt & I've even bought 1990s HWs from this one guy. I've got so much cool stuff from him.
I'm on the craze right now too given I just started.
I found supras yesterday & a few others I was looking for. But I'm at a point where I need to take it easy already lol unless I come across supers lol gotta take them when you can 😂
Yeah I know where you are at my friend. It can become a black hole for your money because there are just too many great castings out there right now. My best advice is set a budget and a goal of what cars you 100% will get if you see them and others that you are willing to leave. Glad you found a TH which was it mate? I started about 2 months ago btw, always learning more and more from the community!

This one is rare because its a super treasure hunt version, you can tell from the wheels being more premium, the spectra flame paint, a TH on the top and there is a golden flame stamp behind the car on the card. This car can come in a mainline version as well but the sth version is a very rare find! So I hope yours is the rare one mate!🙏

The Nissan Skyline R32 was nicknamed Godzilla back in the early 1990’s (somewhere around ‘89-‘90) because of its dominance in motor sports over other cars at that time which is why they put that deco on this mainline 👍

Crazy isnt it! I can say 90% of our stores only have the short cards. Would love more of the long cards as the graphics of the cars are bigger for display, but short is all good 👍

Not all of them only the ones with Golden stamp on the back of the card mate. Also the Super Treasure hunts have spectra flame paint (shinier paint with metal flecks) and premium tires.
