Road Bandit is actually called Jeepney, a public utility transport in the Philippines. After World War 2, there were lots of US Army Jeeps left behind by the Americans. The people there turned it into public transport hence, the jeepney. Love your channel. Started collecting with my son just a month ago in Portsmouth.
Hello, I've seen a few of these videos and ideal for the collector, very good there in the shops especially that land rover with the surf board.i recently bought the grey defender d90 from eBay.
Thanks alot mate! If you mean the rally champs set image I put up on screen its from the offcial posters that hot wheels release throughout the year heres the link to 2024's poster but remember they release them quarterly 👍 community.creations.mattel.com/news/hot-wheels/public-news-stories/download-the-free-2024-hot-wheels-mainline-wave-1-poster-r2211/ Wave 1 poster is the only one out atm mate.
Awesome video, I was surprised to see Hot Wheels Boulevard on the pegs there, I always thought that series was a Walmart Exclusive. Over here in the U.S. it's nearly impossible to find any of the Boulevard series on the pegs.
Hey mate thankyou for the sub! Theres a few different ways to check but we do have it harder on our short international cards than the long cards in america, they can check the code on the back of each card we cannot. For me I somtimes watch lamley unboxing videos to see whats coming up in each case and note down the ones I am most interested in on a google doc. In store you can only use the case itself if it is available and you can check the letter on the box heres a really good link to how to do that mate: www.hwtreasure.com/how-to-identify-hot-wheels-mainline-cases/ This is why sometimes I am dumbfounded to what case I am looking through I just know ive not seen it yet, usually the super/treasure hunt does give it away though. What are you looking to collect? Castings you enjoy/sets/premiums? Welcome to the hobby my friend!
Man good stuff The fantasy cars are soo underrated i hope everyone loves the custom otto if they remember its history im always collecting the custom ottos every casting for them i love my fantasies and my license cars
In terms of the casting on the cards no difference really in my opinion long cards give bigger artwork but the short cards look better on a wall display. In US long cards are standard, short cards are 'international' and the long cards we find over here in the UK are usually put on strips. So in US short cards could be desirable as they would have to import them in and internationally we get a lot less long cards. Also US long cards say what case letter they are from on the back of them international cards do not. Hope this helps mate!
Our Smyths have had the same Hot Wheels in for weeks. Loads of Mainline, but other premium themes, lots of the same but not much to choose from. They could do a lot better as their shop is a main source. Our big Tesco Extra, I'm avoiding the Hot Wheels, their Mainlines are a whopping £2.20.
I hear you mate I've been to stores that just never seem to restock even 4 months later. £2.20 is rotten when you know you can get them for £1.50 Poundland, £1.49 Aldi and LiDL got a 3 for £4 deal which is now £1.33! Supermarkets enjoy marking the mainline up I guess.
I saw in another of your videos that in the rollercoaster car the rear passengers had their arms up, in this one it didn’t look like they had 🤔, if that’s the case it’s a nice touch, a subtle variation.
You made my heart sink then mate 😅 had to go check and although it's very close livery wise it's the 2020 one that's the TH this one was the 2022 version. You have a good eye though mate very similar livery indeed 🙌
Why did you pass over the convertible Corvette in favor of the Viper. I do believe that was a fresh Factory Fresh series which if you have a Hot Wheels platform with the light it shines underneath and the car has working interior lights and headlights. $40 and probably going to go up.
Good finds 👍 I don't think £18.99 is not a lot of money for the 1.43 considering I spend three times that on other diecasts from different manufacturers.. Enjoying your content none the less 👍
You know what thats very fair and a good way to look at it I was looking to get into minigt and that price is typical for those... I think in my head ive got the mainline price as a standard for hot wheels need to think about this a little but thanks mate very valid point.
Hey mate its a valid question for me I define rare hot wheels in a few different ways, the models I cannot find because they are being bought in mass by other collectors, Old castings from years ago that might be hiding in the pegs no one has taken (I found a 2018 datsun fairlady you can see on one of my shorts) and the more obvious rare hot wheels would be the Treasure Hunts/Super Treasure Hunts which have a silver or golden stamp on the card. Silver ones usually come one in every box sometimes they can be missing but the Gold super treasure hunts are so rare and there is usually only one in every 10 boxes of hot wheels (Not exactly 1/10 but you get what I mean) Very rare, premium tires, spectraflame paintwork. People usually value these highly and they sell for 50 - 100x the store price. And you can also get Non Supers which are the same car but without the stamp or features. Hope this helps mate thanks for watching.

I've searched throughout shops for supers, but i've had no luck
done everywhere in St. Helens today, Matalan was really good, v mixed & surprising, Godzilla, Peanuts, Art Car Focus, Gulf Aston, v strange selection!
Sounds like some great finds mate Grats!🎉🎉 Matalan is a good one if they have Hot Wheels stocked usually untouched (my local does not)
