Kawasaki ZZR 1100. To Rotate or Not to Rotate, That is the question!

  • I get asked about rotating the concentric adjusters on the ZZR 1100. It is a very personal decision. There is only one benefit and several downsides. I do rotate the adjusters because I value the much better turn in and feeling in the corners but that is weighed against things that make life with the bike a little harder. One thing I failed to mention in the video is that once the adjusters are rotated the bike leans over more on the side stand. If you have just filled up with petrol it requires quite a bit of effort to stand the bike up.

Excentric idea. Though I'd recommend to tighten the rear damper, it'll also improve cornering behaviour a lot.

I did it to mine after your advice. For a big heavy bruiser the handing definitely turns in better.

My height 158cm, rotate the adjuster will make me difficult to reach my foot to the ground. But handling is better by rotating the adjuster to higher the back of zzr

Your are correct mate. To do it or not depends a great deal on what is important to the rider.
