Definitely an under mentioned anime. People are blinded by other sports anime like Haikyuu!! And I don’t blame them, but this is an undiscovered gem which should have more seasons. It finished everything from the novel in this one season but I sure as heck wouldn’t mind more even if it was made up. To know the characters only at the last episodes and then have it end there was painful. This ED.. truly beautiful. It almost feels like it’s Kakeru’s feelings entirely before he met Haiji and had his life changed for the better. Don’t go into this anime expecting hype and intense moments. It’s not your shonen anime, this one was more of an emotional journey and growth.
This anime inspire me a lot. Somehow i feel an emotional attachment toward this anime. It tell me to keep on running towards your dream no matter how long it takes. In the same time, cheering on your friends' journey towards their dream.
This anime is one of the best sports anime upto the level of haikyuu and emotionally better anime than haikyuu. One the most underrated anime of all times. The people's who haven't watched it are really missing this true master piece to watch. This story tell us to never give up on our dreams.

The fact that our human nature gets the better of us and we make mistakes and hurt ourselves and others really sucks...but whenever the sun rises again, it's like nature has pushed it's reset button and we have another chance to choose differently. I'm glad I now know what this song means. Thankyou so much!
This became my favourite anime, completed it in 2 days. I used to run everyday few years ago , I'm thinking to restart it but don't overdo it without necessary care. I hope this anime gets more popular with athletes. I love Haiji for his patience and perseverence to build a team and overcame crititicism from his team and others in a calm manner. and Kekeru supported the team by giving a helping hand to Haiji. Shindo and others helped in their own way. Usually we stop ignoring others if they don't agree but here see Team building is the highlight of the anime. We should learn a lot from this anime and Free! anime also.
