Thank you. This was very useful. I actually just purchased a 2022 vulcan and a set of Viking saddlebags, just like you. I had already come to the same conclusion for your installation, but it was really excellent to see your installation. I also found the instructions to be garbage. I think they did a google translation from Chinese. The grammar was poor and the instructions almost incomprehensible. But, the bags seem really nice and well built.
10:49 Excellent video but I think I would change out that long bolt for a shorter one. I could see that bolt being a serious problem when you load them bags up.
You should have marked the hole in line with the other ones the bag should be level with the rear fender on the back they look way too high up above the rear fender .
Hey dude, watched your video. It’s great, but do yourself a favor and go to the hardware store and get shorter bolts! The bags are useless this way because the bolts are in the way.
Thank you for showing off our saddlebags!
Thanks man that simplified it a lot better than the instructions they sent. Cheers.

Did you do yours yet? I don't think the bolts that came with the bags are the right size for what I took out of the bike. I have a '22 cafe.

Yeah I was going to do that, I just been a little lazy.
Thank you, I really appreciate your video. I was doubting but not anymore. One question…is there still space for the backrest mount?
There’s room for a backrest, in my others video you can see it with the backrest on
Thank you for the video! I'm getting ready to mount my Viking bags.

I know the feeling , did my 2019 Vulcan bags by myself too . Yours looks good tho .
are the back sides against the bike leather or plastic?
They’re not touching the bike, there are spacers between so there’s some gap between the bags and the bike.
