When I was 17 I met my first love. The Eagles Greatest Hits was an album we listened to over and over again. Melissa you left this world much too soon. I love you and can’t wait to meet you again.
Song is now 49 years old and I never got sick of listening to it. Still my favourite Eagles track. Love your reaction on hearing Glenn sing. His voice was so easy to listen to.
The singer of this song was the late Glenn Frey. Great voice and great songwriter. Try checking out the live version of 'Take It To the Limit' by the bassist Randy Meisner from this same concert!
This concert was great and this song is one of the best, I've loved it since I first heard it. Glen had such a wonderful voice and you can always hear Randy's high voice in the background. The Eagles were so perfect and harmonious at that time, everyone was a great talent. Everyone could sing and play several instruments. Be sure to check out more. Also great "I can tell you why" live studio video.
I loved Glenn Frey's voice so much. Sadly missed. Not The Eagles without him. The writing by Glenn and Don was fantastic. So many hits. Randy also had a really great solo album called One More Song.
Three other songs from this concert are great songs to analyze (,every song is performed perfectly actually): "Hotel California", "Take It To The Limit" and "New Kid In Town". Very cool reaction. Thank you. 👍😎❤️❤️
Singer is the late Glenn Frey. He died in 2016 from complications of ulcerative colitis. He wasn’t that old (67). Always liked his voice better than Don Henley’s (the drummer). Everyone in the band had a really good voice, with the exception of Don Felder (lead guitarist). Check out Take it to the Limit from the same concert, sung by bassist Randy Meisner (also deceased).
I also like his voice better than Don's. I have all albums from both as well as Randy's albums - One More Song was brilliant - not a bad track on it and vocals by Kim Carnes, Wendy Waldman etc. as well as some of the other Eagles.
Just found your channel and subscribed, I love it! Will you do a reaction to.... Kenny Roger (live version) Called, "Lady?" Lionel Richie wrote the song for Kenny they were the best of friends before Kenny passed away.

I would add Take It Easy which is the best version of this song ever.
