But when Chuck talked about how people judge others having celebrity crushes it's like the most relatable thought ever! Ngl the background music made the situation even more stressful LMAO
I would find it stressful, not because I do not want to tell who my crush is, I am actually quite comfortable opening up. It qould be because I do not have one. I could say who I find attractive, but that is not the same as crush. For me to have a crush I would have to know the person. And you can never truly know a celebrity, unless you met them. You could pick the hottest celebrity of them all, and they could be completely crazy. I don't think that celebrities would be a good place to find an actually quality person. They often become celebrities for their looks, not for who they are. And even if they do, it is quite likely it is a projected persona, and not who they truly are.
It's funny how growing up, it was totally normal to have a celebrity crush. Now anytime someone mentions having a celebrity crush, everyone's all like "bUt YoU dOn'T kNoW tHeM!" So? You don't have to know someone to have a crush on them. That's why you have a 'crush' on them instead of 'liking' them.
Icebreakers are the absolute worst. This is 100% me every time. Like exactly, until he says way too much. I manage to keep it under control and say the smallest amount of information possible to satisfy the teacher's request. And probably would have lied about the celebrity crush so I could withhold real info.
😂I would have went with it too in that situation lol. This makes me think of how I constantly had to correct people's pronunciation of my name in school and got so tired of repeating myself that I came to the conclusion in college if I corrected them once and it didn't stick in their minds it was never going to lol. I just gave up and let me be frank my name I don't think is all that difficult. Chuck’s come a long way since the kitchen pantry. I’m proud of him.👏 Regular talking or debating in class was not a problem. But, the level of anxiety I felt when I had to introduce myself was through the roof. Not just introductions, but I remember in school the teacher would have us read out loud. She’d start at the front, and I’d count how many people were ahead of me and find my paragraph to memorise it. I used to think I had undiagnosed dyslexia, but now I think I was just so terrified, that I stumbled over the words. In fact, it was such an issue for me that I actually had the conscious thought on graduation day, holding my HS diploma: “I will never have to read aloud in class again.” I felt such relief.
I used to count kids and paragraphs too. 😢 but then some kid like 2 people in front of me would read their paragraph longer and go into a second paragraph.. so it threw off my paragraph and my practice read!!

Breaking the ice is a nightmare. I be having flashbacks of this awkwardness every time someone new from the class approaches me to say hi for the first couple of times
A good idea would be to ask something about the class and either they'll help you and then leave or if they want to actually talk to you they'll probably mention something off topic and then it'll maybe turn into a conversation.
One of the best lessons I learned from the military is from being in situations like this where the only way to avoid unwanted attention is to do what was asked. I don’t know about the INFJ’s, but being an INTJ I can say that what worked for me was to attack the moment with an almost indignant attitude as if to say “how dare you make me uncomfortable! So do I answer something more common? But then I don't know enough about them if someone wants to talk about it?? What is the celebrity's age, are they too old for me, too young??? Do I justify my answer??????
I felt attacked when that professor or doctor or whatever said. "Tell us something about you". I felt a stabbing pain at my back followed by the rubbing of salt called cringe.
Can confirm the truth of this. I hate introductions. And how often they happen in a group setting. It isn't just college. They do it at work. They do it at church. And I'm over here like "if anyone wants to actually know me, we can talk one on one, k?"
Ikr, every week in church it’s “y’all get up and greet each other.” I’m like “why? Can’t I just stand here and wave at everyone? I don’t want to make small talk with 100 people I only see on Sunday and Wednesday.” And every new school year (I’m a teacher) at the first meeting of the year it’s lunch and then introduce yourself before the meeting starts. Thankfully I’ve been there long enough to know a few people who I search out and sit beside, otherwise…
Creative writing/literature classes be like…An obsessive Danny Devito crush isn’t even the weirdest thing that comes up in those discussions. Celebrity crush? Paul Rudd, maybe? I’m pretty pedestrian with that stuff.
So relatable as in INFP. Fortunately, my A-type has become stronger the older I get, and I can get through it without people knowing what a struggle it is. I think it's best to be the first, and get it over with too, but I still dread it. And Henry Cavill. 😁
When you can’t remember people in that introduction thingy... Now imagine playing a game where everyone has to add a food that starts with their initial, plus the next person has to mention all the foods before them. Guess when my turn was? Yep, the last one. I had to recite fckn 26 foods of people before me. 26. I was so done.
When I attended an Accounting Major Information Seminar in my freshman year of college, they decided this was the best way to break the ice. I don't even HAVE a celebrity crush. I'm going to be an ACCOUNTANT goddamnit just let me be BORING.
The "I won't even be able to remember their names because I'm to preoccupied with my own thoughts" is too damn relatable. :') Although I don't even have time to think about it because I am repeating my introduction in my head hundreds of times, only to mess it up when it's my turn. v__v
1:29 This happens to me on my first day of orientation in UNI last April :0 this professor ask my name, and my voice crack I almost cried...☹️ And the same thing happened on first Day for English class it was my turn to introduce I can't handle i couldn't say my name I cried and I hid my face with my arms on the table, no one make fun of me, more like empathetic for me, after that I couldn't speak so I wrote down on my phone what's my hobby and what I like and show to the lecture.. And I have to do some presentation last week, it was my turn while giving the speech my tears was up to my throat and I couldn't handle it and I cried..😢😞they all try to support me, claps for me, one of the student hid their face just because he noticed I was looking nervous not giving eye contact so he hid his face.. 1 of the students felt guilty for telling the teacher to choose me to ask my name because I cried, he told my Sib that he's gonna avoid me because how guilty he felt when he thought he made me cry and I didn't even mean to hurt their feelings :( I wish I could give smile but were still wearing mask and but is also good because i can hide my mouth when I felt like crying.. I never cry before in my school life ever, more like having all the symptoms like dizzy, shaking, Blurry, stuttering, speaking fast, blushing, red ears, but never cry..so this is a new thing I'm experiencing.. I have Panic/Anxiety disorders..
When walking my dog I listen to '80s & '90s Bon Jovi songs on my headphones [because nostalgia] and I'm paranoid one of the fellow dog walkers I meet on my walk will ask me one day what I am listening to, because it's probably incredibly uncool.
I would just say my name and that I don't have a celebrity crush and if the teacher said I do I would say "your knowledge of me is strictly limited to what I tell you, so even if I did I wouldn't tell you" or I would just give a flat stare
That's one of the biggest reasons why I hate school. In those situation I'm just asking myself if teachers never heard of the existence of introverts that can't and don't want to handle those situation🙄 I mean, I love your funny sketches about it but the sad truth is, that what you show there is actually the reality and concerns sooo many people. But nobody takes the time to try and understand us... Nice video though😄❤️

0:34- Instant PTSD to high school. I HATED it when teachers made us do that dumb shit especially on the first day of school. As an introvert and diagnosed with autism, I knew kids are assholes they find ANYTHING to bully you for. So I strategized to avoid everyone and survive. I dreaded introducing myself in class because if you give kids any information on you they use it as ammunition to use against you. School was the modern day Hunger Games, everybody is on their own. That's why I related to Katniss so hard because that's my life every single fucking day in high school, middle school and elementary school, people finding any reason to come after me. "Oh she's all alone and quiet, so let's bully her into submission." It's a miracle that I didn't make an attempt to end my life in high school, it took God and Demi Lovato, two friends and my family to stay alive. College was slightly better, because people are different and don't care about superficial things that people in high school did.
not ALL classes of students do that, my high school was actually chill and everyone stuck to their groups while in primary we were almost all focused on doing our best in contests and there wasnt really too much bullying, but that does sound terrible indeed, I (introvert, not autistic) have been bullied for a bit once too but not to that level. Yeah, kids can be really stupid, the best thing to do is analyse what they say and if it is untrue or makes no sense dont care about it, easier said than done though for many people. Especially if you do well in school they do it out of jealousy. Thankfully you made it through and are still alive
The fact that you have to tell something about yourself (regardless of what it is) contradicts the whole purpose of the introduction because you are so focused on what to say that you can't really pay attention to what the other people are saying until it has been your turn. Going first isn't an option either, especially when you first have to think about your answer. In this case, how could I decide in just a few moments which one my celebrity crush is without having the time to weigh all the options.
Having to come up with a celebrity crush is a pretty hard predicament, but at least if all else fails you can fall back on some common ones like Scarlett Johansson, for example. The question I ALWAYS hate is when they say "Give us one interesting or crazy thing that has happened in your life." I would not be hanging out on the internet writing this comment if I was interesting.
I d just say "I dont have one, celebrity crushes and idolising people is ridiculous, everyone has their strong points and weak points and you usually cant tell what a person is actually like by the limited and curated information that is out in public. I may appreciate some people of whatever gender for some things but that doesnt mean I idolise them. What people mean wheen they say that is mostly that they find them physically attractive but that barely even matters to me. To be frank, I never even had a regular crush. Does this answer your question?" if you want my opinion, there you go lol. As for being interesting, what really matters is what you find interesting, but yes the question sucks
@@edi0157 there's like seven different kinds of attraction and most people don't feel them in equal measure. Believe it or not, there's a difference between thinking someone looks attractive (aesthetic attraction), and being attracted to them. Some people care a lot about looks and the like, whereas some people care almost entirely about personality.
I have been wondering about if you had an ice breaker skit because I knew this could be good 😂 I always stress about ice breakers and repeat my answer in my head several times so I’m ready when it’s my turn

I felt attacked when that professor or doctor or whatever said. "Tell us something about you". I felt a stabbing pain at my back followed by the rubbing of salt called cringe.
🤣🤣🤣😆😆DEAD🤣👌That was sooo good down to the sound effects. Thanks for the smiles and laughter FJ!😄🤙🙏💫
😅Oh&....crush(es)...
Jack White💘
orrr
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez💘
For the teens.... they don't care that much, more concerned with how you are perceiving them :)
I barely would remember my name when it's my turn😂😂
That finale remember me Alex Garfin lkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Been there and sweated through every never - ending second till my turn. As for ice - breakers, they make me want to take life!
I was not expecting Danny DeVito
When it’s my turn to speak I just tell them politely that I’ll pass and that I’m a little too nervous to speak.
well a long time ago....it was Legolas :D
🤣
Oh.. Imagine asking people about their celebrity crush😂😂
True.
Omg, I can relate! Glad to know this is totally normal for introverts. 😂
I got anxiety just from the title. 😂
Creative writing/literature classes be like…An obsessive Danny Devito crush isn’t even the weirdest thing that comes up in those discussions. Celebrity crush? Paul Rudd, maybe? I’m pretty pedestrian with that stuff.
Hi my name is Riley Anderson I'm from Minnesota and... now I live here. As a personality type enthusiast, my celebrity crush is the movie Inside Out.
So relatable as in INFP. Fortunately, my A-type has become stronger the older I get, and I can get through it without people knowing what a struggle it is. I think it's best to be the first, and get it over with too, but I still dread it. And Henry Cavill. 😁
Judges you silently when you say Danny Davito🤔hmmm
Oh, shiz!
Thankfully my lit teacher didn't make us go through this torture...
BC Lit teachers are usually introverts, right?
👍
“Everything alright?”
no dr rosin, *no*.
Who doesn’t have a crush on Danny Devito though?
When you can’t remember people in that introduction thingy...
Now imagine playing a game where everyone has to add a food that starts with their initial, plus the next person has to mention all the foods before them. Guess when my turn was? Yep, the last one. I had to recite fckn 26 foods of people before me. 26. I was so done.
INFP here and I always get so stressed out waiting for my turn to speak.
My celebrity crush was Allan Rickman. Miss him.
Although I don't even have time to think about it because I am repeating my introduction in my head hundreds of times, only to mess it up when it's my turn. v__v
1:29 This happens to me on my first day of orientation in UNI last April :0 this professor ask my name, and my voice crack I almost cried...☹️
And the same thing happened on first Day for English class it was my turn to introduce I can't handle i couldn't say my name I cried and I hid my face with my arms on the table, no one make fun of me, more like empathetic for me, after that I couldn't speak so I wrote down on my phone what's my hobby and what I like and show to the lecture..
And I have to do some presentation last week, it was my turn while giving the speech my tears was up to my throat and I couldn't handle it and I cried..😢😞they all try to support me, claps for me, one of the student hid their face just because he noticed I was looking nervous not giving eye contact so he hid his face..
1 of the students felt guilty for telling the teacher to choose me to ask my name because I cried, he told my Sib that he's gonna avoid me because how guilty he felt when he thought he made me cry and I didn't even mean to hurt their feelings :(
I wish I could give smile but were still wearing mask and but is also good because i can hide my mouth when I felt like crying..
I would just say my name and that I don't have a celebrity crush and if the teacher said I do I would say "your knowledge of me is strictly limited to what I tell you, so even if I did I wouldn't tell you" or I would just give a flat stare
this
That's one of the biggest reasons why I hate school. In those situation I'm just asking myself if teachers never heard of the existence of introverts that can't and don't want to handle those situation🙄
I mean, I love your funny sketches about it but the sad truth is, that what you show there is actually the reality and concerns sooo many people. But nobody takes the time to try and understand us...
Nice video though😄❤️
That's what I'm wondering too, as if it was so easy for everyone of us to talk in front of 25 people..
Nice ending. Did not see that coming.
I'd ask to go to my safest place and Say "Can I go to the bathroom? Please" 😂 I just can't do it 😂
Reading this video title gave me anxiety. 😄
(This is totally unrelated, I just wanna say something about the polls from your recent emails - if we are of any help to you, please don't hesitate to send them as often as you want! :) I like voting on them, they're actually fun! :) Also, it's really interesting to find out what the winning option is when you post the video. :))
thanks!
Hey! I also get the emails, I agree, I like knowing what everyone picks😊
Oh bro..... Thinking what i should say to sound as perfect as i can and thinking after that why i sound like nervous pussy
You're using the "Shizz" that you created :D nice
This right here is why you don't get born as an introvert. Be cool. Be ENTP (Or ESTP those folks are cool too)
0:34- Instant PTSD to high school.
Thankfully you made it through and are still alive
i love this dude....hahahahahahah
It's very accurate tho😂
I feel that he is an intp I don't know why
Ewan McGregor das one of my first, nos is Ben Barnes!!!
George Bailey from It’s a Wonderful Life 🙋🏻♀️😅
haha classic
@@FrankJames Do you have one? Who is it (in case you are willing to share this info)?
The fact that you have to tell something about yourself (regardless of what it is) contradicts the whole purpose of the introduction because you are so focused on what to say that you can't really pay attention to what the other people are saying until it has been your turn. Going first isn't an option either, especially when you first have to think about your answer. In this case, how could I decide in just a few moments which one my celebrity crush is without having the time to weigh all the options.
Does Rhea know about this? 😏
Is that Andrew? 🤔
@@Kimbonessness I was referring to Rhea Perlman, Devito's wife. 🙂
Well all that thing goes on inside
But outside only the celebrity name comes out
Having to come up with a celebrity crush is a pretty hard predicament, but at least if all else fails you can fall back on some common ones like Scarlett Johansson, for example. The question I ALWAYS hate is when they say "Give us one interesting or crazy thing that has happened in your life." I would not be hanging out on the internet writing this comment if I was interesting.
Something doesn't have to be important to be interesting. You could say the most random thing ever and nobody would mind.
I also wouldn’t be hanging out on the internet READING this comment if I was interesting.
@@kaboomgaming4255 I know people value different things, I simply wrote my take on it as I would have been asked to say in that hypothetical scenario
What's with Matthew Hussey? You had confirmed his "crush" on his years ago
Danny DeVito, nice one! That guy is a hilarious. But being asked to introduce yourself is no laughing matter!😂🤣
I have been wondering about if you had an ice breaker skit because I knew this could be good 😂 I always stress about ice breakers and repeat my answer in my head several times so I’m ready when it’s my turn
OK, are we just going to ignore the fact that one of the Franks of the Frankverse is not a Frank?
Hi, I’m Melting Point Creations. My celebrity crush is Jennifer Lawrence. And Natalie Portman. And Michael B Jordan. And James McEvoy. 🤷🏻♀️
It’s stressful waiting for your turn >_
