@@aleee2010 bro why? this sounds very different. Like the whole concept is being changed. Probably no eagle vision. 2 characters with forced changes based on game style required by the mission. No sync points but SPY network. No target would be easily located. Need to play more to get more info and only then we would be able to accomplish the objective.
I can't wait to see some actual gameplay of this game. It looks and sounds amazing, but that's literally the point of a teaser/reveal trailer, lol. Gameplay footage will make or break this game. Hopefully it's good, because I've wanted an AC game set in this era of Japan forever.

@@RyanDesmond But, Yasuke was NOT a samurai. He was a retainer, a valet. He was never trained nor did he ever fight as a samurai warrior. Again, if you wanted a black character in an Assassin's Creed game just base the game somewhere in Africa during the time of "The Kingdom of Kush" or maybe during the Numidian empire times or during The Zulu Empire. That would have been way more cool and make a lot more sense to have a black character as the main guy.

I feel like Akechi Mitsuhide is going to play a big role in this story, either as an Assassin or as a Templar. Could go either way at this point.
Most probably as a templar or perhaps something along the lines of a sage, but that's far fetched.
i would say more on the Templar side since he is a high born samurai and he wanted power as well
I see him as more neutral. Maybe power hungry, but having an "oh sh*t" moment as he comes to realize that Nobunaga is the head of the Templar Order in Japan, which leads him to betray Nobunaga.
@@AverageJoe87 that would be cool, or like AC III the entire Oda clan are all templar and could just be doing infighting amongst themselves this whole time and maybe after Honnnoji we get a bonus mission to off akechi while he is trying to regroup
It will be interesting to see his character, since we know that if Yasuke is Playable then we will probably have to fight him in the end. So it will be interesting to see if he’s manipulated by a group, or maybe takes it upon himself to do something because he just doesn’t care for Nobunaga. We will see but I’m certainly interested in how Ubisoft build the story around this, how characters will interact, and how the Assassins and Templars will be involved. This is the first game in a long time that had Proper Assassins and Templars, and hopefully will shed some light on wth Basim is doing in the present day
So what I’m hearing is that the gameplay is an evolution of assassin‘s Creed syndicate where you can play as either protagonist specialized in certain skills, this time more skills are exclusive and the world reacts to certain actions performed by different characters
And you can play the majority of the main story as either character, vs the 80/20 split between Jacob and Evie.
I’m really curious to see how yasuke play I feel like it his gameplay might be a little bit like ghost of Tsushima if it is I’m on that game day an night if it’s not but something different an unique an beautiful ima be on it day an night but i gotta keep my expectations in check 💯
Based on everything we've seen so far, it feels like Naoe will have more useful skils for an AC game, lets hope that Ubisoft keeps the gameplay balanced for both characters
They better have new game plus from the start!

I just hope there isn’t the teleportation assassination like in mirage. I hope it’s more grounded and not supernatural. I know Basim was so fast it glitched the animus but that was a poor justification. I don’t mind the different mounts that may not be real. But as far the actual gameplay with the characters, I hope it’s more grounded

I think it's heavily implied in the reveal trailer that they will be part of the Brotherhood...
I think the only ones that weren't apart of any brotherhood legally were Kassandra and Eivor, though eivor has a hidden blade, as does kassandra in the dlc (i think, i could be remembering wrong), kassandra is also related to one of the founding assassins via marriage. So they're kinda brotherhood-adjacent. But kassandra was a precursor to the hidden ones, an ancestor of aya if i remember right. And eivor's era was during when the brotherhood was beginning its worldwide spread into further countries.
@@SliferStreaming yea Kassandra did had a hidden blade but only in the dlc Valhalla was the story on how the Templars was found by King Alfred and what I like bout odyssey everything started with Kassandra if the cult of kosmo didn’t come to her land spreading false prophecy saying her baby brother will be doom by humanity she could of have a happy life an Maybe her son would of grew up with both parents instead of Darius rising him training him in they way an he train his kids an they do the same everything originate to Kassandra cause of her being a isu hybrid her blood was important

Naoe is the assassin with the blade and tools. Yasuke will be more brute force and take on enemies out in the open.
I doubt it but he is getting his own dlc so maybe towards the end of the main game we see him join the brotherhood and getting hidden blade

Always been loyal fan of AC franchise. But, last game AC mirag was really not my type and stopped playing it in few hours.
You probably more of the rpg trilogy player cause I didn’t really like mirage combat gameplay but besides that it was pretty nice but I wish they stuck with ac3 combat an work they way up with it that combat was basically like the Arkham knight game

I assumed they meant that Yasuke will be less nimble and skilled, so stunts that Naoe handles easily will be daring and risky with Yasuke.

@Fleepwn yeah I'm pretty much the same, I don't hate any of the acs but valhalla was pretty tedious, and I recently finished mirage and tho the story was kinds mid the game itself was fun

Mirage was pretty good gameplay wise imo but short, which was always the plan. Pretty sure it was meant to be a DLC for Valhalla that they just decided to expand into its own game instead
It’s cause you like the rpg ac you not really into me myself I like both so I thought mirage was pretty good it felt like I was playing one of the old assassins creed but more revamp version the parkour was pretty nice and think basim was a pretty interesting character

I would expect nothing less from Ubi's adopted son. Ubi chose Yasuke for marketing reasons to attract neglected audiences, to increase the number of players and more money ;) The last time we had a black protagonist was 10 years ago, this is the truth, period.
Nothing against black people, it is the Ubi's business decision here in question because they have deliberately chosen this story over many other and more popular real Japanese characters and stories during that era.
Why add the brute Samurai in the game? Wasn't the ninja enough? Of course not.
Follow the money! Without a proper hack/slash, protagonist Ubi wouldn't be able to sell easily the game to a huge audience of gamers and particularly those who didn't like the Mirage and rated it low.
Ubisoft might get this right? Faaarrrrr from it!

So I'll enjoy reading the Assassin's Wiki and all about the Japanese Brotherhood, Master Assassin Hatori and his ninjas who have fought the Templars in Japan since 1549 to bring order on the island and protect the artefact, the sword of Eden.
You carry on getting hyped about this duo of protagonists who are nothing more than Avengers tightened on another family drama and run on a parallel narrative with Assassin's Creed.

@@jdgillmer2656syndicate sure but odyssey is definitely not one of the worst in the series. Game has a good rating across the board, user ratings on steam is also really positive and overall the game was a financial success for Ubisoft.
Only people who cry about it not being like the older games think it is a bad game, most of the people who gave the new formula a chance actually really enjoy it.
If you said this about Valhalla I would have probably agreed with you but odyssey deserves respect for what it is.

after finally being able to play ghost of tsushima on pc. if ubisoft dont step up and improve on the hitbox and mob AI combat. I dont think it can surpass the real ac japan that is ghost of tsushima. Even with basic stealth/parkour mechanics. GOT have such clean controls over how u ledge on something or climb the ladder compared to a more complex established system like AC. Im just comparing the Open world series cos thats where AC engine is currently using. I preorded AC origins/odyssey/valhalla. But only origins got me hooked.
Sure Ubisoft always made pretty worlds especially big capital cities etc. But aside from that. everything else comes with abit of jank.
