Oriah Festival 2024/Longding/Wanchotribe of Arunachal Pradesh .🇮🇳❤️💐

Longding District the Oriah festival is celebrated every on 16th February every year. It was in the year 1975 that the first Oriah festival at Longding was celebrated. The people residing in the Longding Township participate in the celebration. Dance troupes from various villages also take part in it.

Animism is still practiced by Wancho people unlike the Nagas. If we talk about North East India, the others who still practice animism include the Nocte tribe of Arunachal Pradesh and some Konyak people from Nagaland.
