  • Meet the headhunters of Arunachal Pradesh!!
Most of us have seen the photographs and videos of the famous Headhunters of Nagaland. Little did I know we could find them in Arunachal Pradesh too. Meet the Wancho Tribes - An indigenous tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. They are culturally the Nagas and ethnically related to the Konyak Tribes of Nagaland. I was recently invited by Arunachal Tourism to explore the new circuit called TCL (Tirap, Changland and Longding) that, the officials are planning to open for tourists. I got a chance to visit KONSA Village, which is the last village at the Indo-Myanmar border. The border is just one km from this village. You can still find a king and his monarchy in this village. I even got a chance to enter the King's house and witness their way of living, cultural performances and much more.
A huge THANKS to Arunachal Tourism for helping me see this unique side of India.

Sir please 🙏 discuss Bodo indigenous tribes of Assam.bodo indigenous tribes was oldest and largest indigenous tribes who was first settlers in Assam.
According to Wikipedia Bodo tribes migrated from tsngpo river Tibet and arunachal pradesh siang /subansiri river and some brother tribes left Nagaland and arunachal pradesh and some brother settle Brahmaputra valley area for furtile and cultivate rice .
Bodo indigenous tribes also sino-tibeto and sino-burman branches langustic families. Bodo indigenous tribes language verry similar to arunachal pradesh and Nagaland Tribes konyak tribes, nogte , wangcho, singpho, garo,
dimasa, and etc language is similar.. please do discuss and research this topic.north eastern India is always deep history and culture

Arunachal Wancho tribe and Konyak tribe in Nagaland everything is same starting from language, foods, looks, traditional attires, traditional houses etc.
When I heard their dialect it takes me back to those childhood days listening to wancho songs on my PHILIP radio 4pm every evening😢😊. Sometimes feeling sad that how government or the people had divided us (konyak in particular) in different places ie, Nagaland, Arunachal, Assam, Myanmar (generally Nagas).

Glad that Arunachal is getting exposure with the people of the main land India, thanks to the introduction of the airport. India is indeed very diverse country East, West, North and South all have different cultures ,food, tradition and ethics and Arunachal in NE is one of most underrated, unexplored and untouched places. Looking forward to your more adventurous vlog in Arunachal and do visit the famous places like Tawang, Mechuka, Ziro Valley, Dong valley(the first sunrise in India) and explore the beautiful mountains, fresh waterfalls, the nature life and the tribals and indigeous life...Lasting thanks for visiting Arunachal and sharing ur experience. Great. So memorable madam. Your living data had reminded me of those long years duration when I was staying at Konsa village as a school teacher. I appreciate and thank you very much madam for this important record you have kept.
In those days there was no good road, especially an approach road upto the chief's residence. I used to walk from Longding to Konsa village on foot sometimes. But there was govt bus plying on the road upto Pongchau HQ, by which I too used to go. But from there I would walked on foot through short-cut, an undulating hilly terrain for about three hours.
Today you are lucky enough to reach various, even mysterious places by motor car.
Your last sentence made me emotional in which you said,
"Khatarnak ye nahi, hamare presumption hote he."
You rightly said madam. Kehte he na, "aap bhale to jag bhale". Agar hum apne soch badale, to humey kisi ka bhi khof nahi. Sina thokkar kahe ki mai insaan hu. Sabhi mere apne he. Sab thik ho jayega.
Thks once again. God bless you 😊🙏🙏✌️
