I found this song more than 3 years ago. That time my mom had a life mate (she and my dad devorced when I was 15), and he was like a very good friend to me and to my boyfriend. He went on a heart surgery at the end of 2019. We all hoped that he was going to make it and recover, but God had an other plan. He survived the surgery but a week later he died in the hospital. This was in january 2020. The worst thing in it, that he knew, he was not gonna make it. He knew and he said goodbye to us and his entire family before he went to the hospital and also made a facebook post to say goodbye to his friends and everybody he knew on facebook. It was more than 3 years ago but we still miss him. Since 2020 life is getting worse and worse.... since then the whole world is crazy.....you know what I mean, not just for me but.... the pandemic and now this war (as I live in Hungary all of these horrible things happening right in our neighborhood) and sometimes I wish I could go back in time before all of these things happened. And I know I'm not alone with this. 2020 took a lot from all of us.... So I found this song just before my mom's life mate died... I was at my workplace in night shift, my headphones on, listening to this song and just started to cry..... because I know what was going to happen. God, I have never seen anybody to leave this world with so much dignity than he did. 😥 I always think about him when I hear this song.

I have lost many people and people in my family that don't want to know me it makes me cry and feel hated know matter how much my parents say it ok it's not ok they don't know the feeling but I n not ready to die I have many years to go down this broken and burning street. I'll cry for all of you and feel the pain you feel, I live with it every day anyway so why not add some more you know. I lost my mother 2 july 2019 and today it is exacly one month ago and ...i put this song on and the tears came like water from my eyes. its like she's talking to me through this song. Its a warm feeling and i have also a feeling of finelly can make a farewell cuse it was not possible before she died. Its a really good song its a piece of art to make a song that makes that kind of feelings. (sorry for my bad english). And Within Temptation is one of my fav bands, because i feel the lyrics and the music in my heart. Greetings.
