I'd not realised how far I'd fallen behind on the TH-cam viewing, time to binge! 😀 I do love that trail rider/enduro rider moto... "Up is Up", it is a good ethos for real life too! Some seriously steep clambers and descents on these trails Josh, looks mega. I've had a few rides in recent times where I really was sad to put the bike away after, had some where I got home and couldn't face putting it away so turned around and went out again, do wish we had trails like this to play on though!
100 years... they'll be like what are those big green leafy looking things and why is there so much noise coming out of that hover bike 😬 Haha cheers JB
I know what you mean , about not wanting to head back on a really nice day out. Ive got my 690 about all set up like I want it now, not cheap but an amazing bike. I was out the other day in Nor Cal, towards the coast and just kept going. 465 miles still felt good getting home in the dark. 170 miles of dirt or so. 690 takes half the energy of riding an 890.
@@MVDBR Not a lot, I put on a standard seat concepts seat, which seemed soft at first, but its ended up working fine for me. I transferred my Scotts damper to the 690, which also gives it taller bars. I run tubliss on the back at lower pressure for ease of dirt riding....I do stand up some.....it seems like an easy bike to ride at a good clip all day. I have the small KTM windscreen with a puig extender, much better at speed.......my 890R takes WAY more effort on a long day.
Hello Josh, well that was a fun ride, a few stops on the bike, it needed a rest...then on you went. The dip in the Creek a sweet one, very refreshing . Safe travels mate. all good fun..... David....Adelaide....Triumph Scramblers 1200X and 900....for the ride.......
No body around! That is what is all about brother! I have finely gotten over the embarrassment of filming by others, took a long long time, but now I am THAT GUY for better or likely for worse lol. Cheers mate.
Mate i got hammered by a family of Maggie's yesterday they are relentless. Awesome video Josh good to see the orange blossom is back on point again 👌 and a shout out to the great and powerful Gizmo, doesn't get much better than that . Cheers 🍻
Hehe mate I remember one guy I rode with, Ash, back in the little bike days that fella used to go flat strap balls n all down mega gnarly hills, fuck he could hold on to that 450. I'd shit myself just trying to keep up 😂 cheers mate
Love your riding style mate. It’s how I used to ride. Getting a bike in a few months. Will hopefully be on those trails soon. Enjoy your vids. Keep it up 👍
Auto clutch? Haha I have tried one on a WR450, therefore I can knock it 😂 Not my thing man I like having a clutch, ask me again when the arthritis gets worse haha
@@ayden056 haha it probably would, but I just need to get used to this sort of riding again and maintain the correct gear for the situation 😂🙈 cheers brother
Awesome man great to see him cracking on with good times , I been missing heaps vids as been out Lightning Ridge and even up your way to Goomeri n Kilkivan but had the van not bikes unfortunately , How dam good is the bakery at Goomeri as wow good feed out of there
Joshua-san in his element! KTM cop a bit of shit for reliability and some of it is justified but the 690 sounds solid with proper attention to servicing, and I think riding a bike hard helps keep it on point. Bikes love being ridden hard and well looked after. Ask your bike, it won't answer but it knows. Josh knows!
Yeah just like us mate, change out the fluids often and pump it hard 😁😉 The sic 90 is running like a sewing machine still, a loud angry sewing machine 💪 Cheers G
They are a good looking beast hey, although a little heavy for a single and that 5-speed gearbox that can be prone to failure. But nothing is perfect... except the 690 😂

Just got back from a month long trip. It’s good to catch a Josh video!
Nice mate! Bike trip?
@ It was a river trip that started in Germany and ended in Romania and Transylvania. 🧛♂️
You know they will look at this in 100 years and say... wow, they really were allowed to ride in the bush... 😅 great flick mate, love your work ❤️ 👍

@@MVDBR Cheers man!
Loving the 690!! Thought about trying a rekluse auto clutch? I put one in my 500 and it’s a beast. Don’t knock it till ya try it!! 🤘🏼
