I don't normally have any respect for TV journalists, including Kay Burley. But this was a joy to watch. The spectacle of a minister squirming and snivelling set me up for the day, if not actually putting a spring in my step.
Im really not a fan of Kay tbh. But my goodness, i have to applaud her on this! 👏🏻
Another minister who wouldn't know the truth if it hit him.
Proper pushback from Kay. Well done
What an interview……..I have the strong feeling he was wetting himself! Well done Kay.
Thank God Kay wouldn't let him go off track with the questions, oh boy he tried alright 😂
This interviewer gives me joy she pressed the politician giving politician answers to the point he was nervous 😂
This is so funny. Kay is out for blood this morning
lying is just an art form for these muppets
Great journalism Kay! Xxxx
Too late for change the tories have shown their colours long time ago nothing but Liars time for change now
They 'listen', but only what they want to hear...
Proper grilling, nice to see...
Feet to the fire....Chris Philip feels nothing.....Asbestos feet? But Man oh Man, how many gulps.....
Such an odious man!!!!!!!! He was definitely involved, if it wasn't their idea he most certainly pushed for it!!!!
This bloke is a right tool
Kay Burley is 🔥
Chris Phillip doesn’t like answering questions . He’s got something to hide .
If it’s just a small measure, bump it up 5% in the other direction… top rate of 50 % for earners over 250,000 for example…, then maybe another small increase of 5% for earnings over 500,000.
No government In the world does that. We're paying the most in tax in Europe already. 45p reversal was a good idea but it was the wrong time. It would have put it back where we where before the Conservative party put in the first place. Labour didn't have 45p. Since thatcher bar 5 years of blair our rate has always been 40p and our economy still grew 10x.
@@prelude229 Denmark (55.9 percent), France (55.4 percent), and Austria (55 percent) had the highest top statutory personal income tax rates among European OECD countries in 2021. All of whom are growing faster than us with healthier economies and higher standards of living. Go figure.
