Pickerel Lake Jump In 2023 with Let Er Rip SXS

- Pickerel Lake Jumo In was pretty cool. This was our first time attending the event and it was a riot. People decide to challenge the frigid water during this event in multiple different ways. Most entertaining way is by skipping your snowmobile across open water in hopes that you make it across. Let's just say not everyone makes it across. If that wasn't enough leave it to Wisconsinites to get down to their bathing suits and jump in for an invigorating swim. The event offers food, beer, vendors, and plenty if laughs. Thanks for watching.

Some good footage. Thanks!
It was a blast this year!!
These people need to come out to the river with me, i mean they're water skipping 50 feet and they love it, we do half miles, half in the bag!
What river do u run? I dug a few out of the fox River in Wisconsin. If the sled is setup for it it's easy
Your skipping half miles of open water on a normal everyday sled? What u riding? I don't like taking the chance. I skipped some pretty big opens in my life that is forshure.

I remember the day when we just crossed the water, now almost everyone wheelies across and have can's to make it even louder, lol After a day of listening to that must get kinda irritating.....ok, maybe I am just getting old, hahahaha 😛
Times have definitely changed. Not even a challenge anymore. And lol.
I want you to try that with the Razor....you'll be a legend one way or the other...
You do know they race on courses now wide open lakes in the summer 😂😂😂
Well yea and there highly setup sleds just for that. Not as easy as it looks.
That's ware my cabin is
I have a 174 track with 3 in paddles, does anyone here know if you can water skip with that?
I seen your truck parked on the side of the road lol!
Lol. She doesn't blend in very well.
@@leterripadventures are you from Wisconsin?
@@andrewmacpherson6233 yes sir.
@@leterripadventures same here central Wisconsin
@Andrew MacPherson I'm good ol Mosinee If ya got a sxs we are heading to a park Saturday
Can’t believe no body thought it may be good idea to wear dry suit lol
Well because they are heavy, expensive, rip and a wetsuit can do almost the same.
Yo my lake house is on lake Lucerne I went to watch the jumping in 2022 at the beginning of the year
Awesome. Was my first time there, and it was cool to check. Definitely gets a rowdy as the day goes on lol
Yes defiantly looked the same tho
looks like a good time how deep was the water there.
The water is not very deep probably 8-10 knowing the are skipping at the mouth
It looks like 4 feet
Is this in Canada or US

They r aware and involved along with local law enforcement. Well put together event.
promo sm 😎
Its just not as fun anymore. These new sleds its hardly a challenge even. They should really consider opening that lake up even more. 20 years ago a crossing like this was a challenge with 600lb sleds. No offense just kinda dull now a days.
