Fun fact I haven't seen anyone mention. Soujuurou Shizuki's passive prevents Cnoc's buff in multicore because it's a skill seal, so for his main use case in farming that passive is actually a demerit
Also, Alice is the first Quick servant in the game that gets 300% charge against 1/1/X berserkers with no Overkill. She gets 10% refund against 1 berserker twice is 20% has 90% battery+20% mana loading and double Skadi+Oberon has 170% battery that's 300% Sadly, as you say, not sure how to put this in practice. Even if you ignore the refund lost by starting with Oberon, she wastes to much because Skadi 50% battery issues.
From what I can tell, Protagonist Correction only works on things that are tagged as [Demerit] AND that aren't crucial to the kit or design of that Servant. - Super Aoko's S3 isn't affected because the NP cost isn't tagged [Demerit]. - Instant Death to self and Eternal Sleep aren't affected because it would be broken otherwise (plus Eternal Sleep explicitly ignores all resistances/immunities/removal anyway - this text has been there since Oberon was added). - Van Gogh's S2 is affected but her S3 isn't - the only argument that makes sense is that her absorbing curses is crucial to her S1 working, but there are other sources of curses as well so S2 applying them isn't. Never mind the fact that S2's curse demerit does really bad damage to facilitate her S3 -> S1 combo without being too much of a problem. - I have no idea why they allowed the [Demerit]-tagged NP costs to be blocked, because the skill text does say it doesn't block costs.
I actually farm event with Aoko rn, she can 3-turn farm, but only if you get her buster card (that doesn't transform into arts). Not saying she is good looper, more of a fun fact)
Two things I’d love to see: One) Y’all making custom servants you’d love to see in the game. Y’all always mention cool ideas like a crit support that actually uses the extra stars, or someone who gives debuff success up. It’d be really cool to see what y’all come up with and discussion about new or innovative game mechanics! Two) time stamps PLEASE ;-;
i have arc on my castoria-less account and she handles the first wave, then arash handles the next.. or if needed she overcharges arash NP by having them launch it consecutively. they really have great synergy for wave 1/wave 2 thrash mobs. the fact that she has def down on first skill and AOE charge on her second with an invul bonus is always a plus. she is really great.
idk both formats have merit i do think Doubles feels more 'reads' focused just with how many moving parts there are but since smogon is grassroots the balancing is more accessible rly think this just comes to preference cause VGC metas can b insane but some ppl enjoyed busted shit its why games like Melee and YGO do well still

Aoko is one of the hardest servants to evaluate in recent memory - on release people said she was broken now I saw someone claiming she's unusable unless devs buff her. She might be just an above average servant that has to contend with overtuned monstrosities we get on the regular or she might be busted in a way we haven't figured yet. I think NP focused playstyle Plushie suggests is as much of a trap as aoe extra attacks and she is secretly the fabled arts crit dps that actually does good damage but more testing is needed.
Honestly looking back at this ticket as a JP player, a bunch of these kinda suck at np1. Even without competition or future buffs np1 just doesn't cut it in terms of damage. I think servants that crit more ilke ash or caenis are solid picks even if i'm still waiting for the copium caenis s1 buff that makes the attack up 3t and gives her a star absorb skill so she can actually use those 15 stars she makes every turn.
i have a feeling that aoko form 1 is support, and form 2 is dps I think on another servant, the single target self sacrificing np would be nice, but for an onfeild dpa its an issue
Lore wise, normal Aoko as the mediocre mages she’s should have the caster deck and the 0.55% np charge atk and super Aoko the QASBB deck with the 0.33% charge atk 😂
Hey guys, please be careful with JP story spoilers. I LOVE you guys but TH-cam channels that don't respect players playing NA story are usually an instant unsubscribe for me. I understand all of you play JP, but I value your opinions on gameplay because you guys are so established. But if I start getting spoiled NA story I just can't.
I also feel the same way being an NA player tbh. Since the podcast is shorter these days, It would be much appreciated if you can time stamp when you talk spoilers as well or drop spoiler bombs. I understand it would be harder if it was the old length. But with the shorter episodes I feel like it could be doable. You guys really inspire me to give more thought into gameplay and I love you guys for that but the moments when you guys drop spoilers I get frustrated. I walk into these episodes knowing things could be spoiled but I can't help but feel this way. it's just that the story is what majority of what players love about this game.
29:30 - I don't understand this argument about supposed anti-Castoria synergy. If you use Castoria's third skill on Aoko, she'll get one turn of anti-purge defense. If you use Super Aoko's skill one, she gets one turn of anti-purge defense. If you use Castoria's NP, depending on overcharge level, you can get 1-5 hits of anti-purge for three turns. So what are we talking about here? The fact that it doesn't stack and that it's reliant on which one of these is used first? Regardless of which duration you're getting, it's still fucking strong. It's like saying: "You know, one Lamborghini is cool and all, but what if we could have TWO Lamborghinis." It's just a nothingburger argument in my opinion, especially for arts teams that get NP quickly.
The problem is that both hers and Castoria Invul only protect her, the enemy can just focus your other servants as well as Castoria itself and it'll be over before you had a chance of using Castorias NP

she has enuma elish nullification as super aoko. im guessing thats only the bonus damage and not the np itself
