S.S.H. is a man of uncanny talent, this has fast become my favorite version of Bloody Tears since the original. Now if only someone would do a solid re-imagination of Monster Dance I'd be happy.
Whenever I need to hear this song, I search for THIS video. It was my first proper exposure to Bloody Tears so I always associate the music with the imagery in this video.
@@CardPiano Richtor Belmont, and the one who story wise started it all: Leon Belmont And then there's the Lords of Shadow timeline, which has Gabriel, Trevor, Simon, and Victor.
Bloody Tears has always been my favorite piece from the Castlevania series, and this remix has done it justice. I honestly beleive this should be in a Castlevania game.
KJ Setser Yes really lol, that tonal shift came out of nowhere. which makes it a little jarring. The metal beat really gets you hooked in, but when the musical tone changes at 1:45 you wonder why the change then? Which is a legitimate question.
I don't see why people are saying it was ruined by 1:45, it's just like the original songs A bit jarring, sure, but there's no problem with the sound. Ya'll are overdramatic.
SSH is genious... first song I ever heard from him was Travel Demon and I loved it. I thought that was only somekind of single from some unknown dude but just today found out that damn... he has done a LOT of music and being a Castlevania fan just makes me to love his work.
i did Google it, the last post about it was about 3 years. if they were going to make a movie then the idea was scrapped. it was originally supposed to be done by Paul W.S. Anderson the director of the Resident Evil films but was then taken over by Frank Ward. I would like to see a Castlevania movie just as much as some of the other fans but i doubt this game will ever make the jump to the big screen. It saddens me too, it has such a great storyline.
Alucard was the main hero of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (depending on what country you're from, also called Castlevania X) for the Playstation. He was also a playable character in Castlevania 3 for the Nintendo/Famicom.
@Lelouch1Suzaku Well done pal. A gamer that wants to know about the essence, origins and history of a masterpiece is a true gamer indeed. I wish there were more people like you. You won't regret it. My personal favourite's you MUST play are "Symphony of the Night" (PSX) and "Super Castlevania IV" (SNES). Turn off the lights and enjoy these classics.
@Testsubject909 After an epic battle, Richter stood victorious over the broken body of the dark priest called Shaft. Maria ran to his side and gazed at his handiwork. She held her hand to her mouth. All was still and quiet as Richter steeled himself for the showdown with Dracula. Maria finally said, "Wow. You really pounded that Shaft..."

@shiromakidx there is a remake available for PC, made by some fan, it has upgraded graphics and sounds, and some small gameplay changes, u should look for it is called castlevania revamped 2
so beutiful, this song is amazing, but quite sad for 2 reasons, one, it is a reminant of a time long gone, when games were a challange, different, not just a copy and paste of a fps, and two, i was born towards the end of this era, i never truly got to enjoy great game, although the ps1 did give me fond memories
Dude, you have no idea how amazingly Castlevania music (remix or original stuff alike) goes with playthroughs of Diablo III. Conquering Azmodan's armies of Hell? Facing hoards of demons and all sorts of undead and hellspawns? This version of Bloody Tears on max? It's heaven for your ears while you fight through Hell. Bonus points if you're the Demon Hunter class. For anyone who has Diablo, try playing it to songs like this in the background. Enjoy the immensely better gameplay.
Neither do I dude! Honestly I kinda like it, it gives it a Jazzy kinda feel, something you don't hear from any other cover of Bloody Tears and then it goes back orchestrated and serious. It sounds badass to me =]
Its commonly known that SSH makes this stuff under creative commons and offers free downloads on his website. Anyone can use it as long as they site the source.
this is an exceptional remix. I would have liked to see the fast part be stronger, but its still good. And why credit Alucard... we all know Simon Belmont is where its at
to be honest, i WOULD like to see a castlevania movie...as long as it's cgi and straight to dvd (has anyone else noticed that the ones that are at least likeable are like that?) because seriously, there's quite the story in these
Ehhh. It's so yellow. It'll still take a back seat to my "What a horrible night to have a curse" shirt. But, anything spreading the love for Castlevania is good, so I approve and bought one.
@alxxz its one of the most recuring soundtracks in the series, Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, The Begginning and Simons Theme are some of the recuring themes. The former 2 are the most recuring of the four. 90% will have either both or just one. And 50% of them will have Bloody Tears

This dude is a BEAST when it comes to these arrangements, man there are awesome
how beautiful and wonderful this masterpiece..:( it made me cry..
next is good for video game not to give up music because its just like that
Me too
sounds like this was from a 1980's castlevania anime
there is a castlevania anime ?
Oğuz Can Oh gods i wish
He means if there were to be one
THERE IS NOW!!!
You mean a cartoon. Still looks awesome as hell!
What a horrible night to have a curse to listen to this song on loop!
Now that is the version of this song I was looking for
Appropriately epic love it
Easily one of the best NES tracks
Damn. I have NO IDEA why some people say that ANY part of this song is bad. It's all awesome!
Woah I wasn't expecting it to be that good
This is amazing It should Be in a remake of castlevania 4!
but castlevania 4 was already a re make of the 1st game
So in essence it would be a Re-Remake... Makes sense T_T
O_O
Pokemaster mar What he means is that Duper Castlevania 4 is a remake of the first game.
Chris Hallowell Thank god it's not made by capcom
People saying after 1:45 is bad.... Hell no I really like it. It was a nice tribute to other Castlevania song
Nha the song after 1:45 just sucks and feels so out of place.
It had me completely hooked... and then 1:45 happened. :/
