Honestly it’s all communication, anyone can get a 10kill game even those guys you know or believe aren’t good and you’re trying to figure out how. I recommend adding to the list be learning attacker friendly strong points and defender friendly roam points and to move in pairs unless a solo movement is more beneficial for throwing off the other team.
I feel like decision making is the most important thing to get better at in siege with aiming and positioning being close second and third. I say this because in 92% of situations when you die it couldve been avoided if you wouldve made different decisions up until that point. Whether it be when you pushed, where you pushed, whether you droned, whether you repeaked, overpeaked, held an angle for too long, didnt pay enough attention to your surroundings/flanks, etc. every death is the result of a wrong action made on your part. Every death is avoidable. Examine every failure and constructively criticize yourself, make mental notes on why it happened. What could you have done better? If there was "nothing you could do" yes there was. Did you get rushed by the whole team at once? What could you have done to avoid being put in that position? Ran off site earlier? Picked a different operator? Played with a better stack? Spent more time in the shooting range? Theres always something.
To me the match making is the biggest thing holding you back. When you're just beginning but lobbying up against top rank players you really have little chance.
It definitely seems like matchmaking has gotten a lot more lenient. But you have to keep in mind that you are being matched based on rank, its based on hidden mmr. Which means that the top rank players that you would be getting put up against are realistically around the same skill level, at least thats what the game thinks, just with a higher badge next to their name.
@@BMP I've also found turning cross play off gives me a greater variation in rank of the lobby compared to having it enabled but consistently playing against MnK on console is a lot harder than facing the occasional higher ranks.

My prefire sucks, unless I'm already holding the angle. Prefiring and swinging for me doesn't work 70% of the time, when I could just swing the guy with my peekers advantage and kill him. Probably because of side to side recoil when you've already spent 6 bullets in the wall, and because it's harder to adjust overall.
Honestly I'm surprised Kovaaks isn't mentioned. I used to warm up using Arcade and shooting range. But my aim significantly improved after doing Kovaaks. A lot of people will tell you Siege doesn't need Kovaaks training, but my experience is the opposite. Sometimes I'm even surprised at how I get kills because I did the prep and work in Kovaaks
Zofia is good. Her ability to burn ADS and destroy utility is strong plus she has good guns, the LMG rework helped her a lot there. So overall I don't see how she couldnt be good.
Zofia is useful for lower ranks who aren’t as experienced in dealing with gadgets / tactics, whereas higher ranks would rather run dokk / zero for more intel

Yeah I agree. If you just critically assess your own gameplay you can improve a lot faster by learning from your own mistakes
got my very first ranked ace yesterday in silver / gold lobbies , slowly but surely getting better , loving the content my man !!
