Weeeeeell They do kill it live But This one in particular... What we see filmed here is not (at least not entirely) what we hear recorded. At some parts you can see it's as though they lipsynced. Maybe they went in and performed it a couple of times and picked out the best shots for the video so that's why it doesn't _quite_ match up on certain shots. But based on how the "lipsynced" parts look - my guess is they went in and performed it and then did it again but instead of focusing on the performance, the seccond time around they focused on how they act and look for the camera. I don't mean any hate by this, I love Day6 and their whole discography, am super excited to see them live in January and think they're very talented and hardworking. I just think it's good to be aware of certain things and not think that every performance is a 100% live one shot thing, you know.

Agreed! Its not only unique but really versatile too! Vocal range, tone, runs, volume... He mentioned before when he was a trainee someone commented he sang he a (too) calm/ soft way, so he started experimenting different styles during the JYP monthly trainee evaluations. I think that's how he developed so many types of singing styles!

I remember when I first got into Day6 and was first browsing through their covers and songs and stuff, I categorized his voice as "the surprizing one" because every now and then he'd make me go "oh, he can do that too?". Some people say something along the lines of I should find my natural style and stick to it but I LOVE trying to imitate other singers - not just their "technical technique" lol but their tone too, just anything that I like how it sounds I also like trying to imitate it. I think this is how I'll find and expand and master "my style". YoungK is like the living proof of that, he has like different styles all within "his style" and his voice.

Camille Falcon As what Ive learned from Jinyoung-Sem of Unnies Slam Dunk S2, the bigger voices can't start the song. It won't balance the progression of the feelings in the song. It should start from mellow to loud. And bigger voices must be in the climax parts to emphasize the proper emotions. Since Sungjin has a pretty big and louder voice compared to the others, it would suit him best to sing the chorus. And since Jae has a delicate and soft voice, he can definitely open up the song, as if telling a story. 😊
Day6 speciality it's alternative rock soft rock / poprock and as they say everyone of them like different sound they are willing to try different styles and concept as they go on

YoungK's voice is just so unique.........i can't find another person who has the voice like him........he is climbing up my favourite vocals list......
Agreed! Its not only unique but really versatile too! Vocal range, tone, runs, volume... He mentioned before when he was a trainee someone commented he sang he a (too) calm/ soft way, so he started experimenting different styles during the JYP monthly trainee evaluations. I think that's how he developed so many types of singing styles!
@@annakyoyama232 Yes, he's very versatile! I remember when I first got into Day6 and was first browsing through their covers and songs and stuff, I categorized his voice as "the surprizing one" because every now and then he'd make me go "oh, he can do that too?".
Some people say something along the lines of I should find my natural style and stick to it but I LOVE trying to imitate other singers - not just their "technical technique" lol but their tone too, just anything that I like how it sounds I also like trying to imitate it. I think this is how I'll find and expand and master "my style". YoungK is like the living proof of that, he has like different styles all within "his style" and his voice.

Camille Falcon As what Ive learned from Jinyoung-Sem of Unnies Slam Dunk S2, the bigger voices can't start the song. It won't balance the progression of the feelings in the song. It should start from mellow to loud. And bigger voices must be in the climax parts to emphasize the proper emotions. Since Sungjin has a pretty big and louder voice compared to the others, it would suit him best to sing the chorus. And since Jae has a delicate and soft voice, he can definitely open up the song, as if telling a story. 😊
