I love the Clover black gold too, but I do occasionally break them because I use them for every sewing job!! They are absolute horrors to thread though.
Is that possible that the point of the needle can become dull with a lot of use it?? Or is it all in my mind??
It can happen. But needles are not really expensive tools so it's not a surprise either.
