I know this was posted years ago, but is the plunger hard to push down and hold to pull the needle? I don't have great joints and I wonder how much help this would be depending on how hard it is to push down

I use a needle threader and to pull my needle through, I use either needle nose pliers or a thimble.

I need one of these! I have a hard time pulling needles through binding on quilts some times.

Interesting. I've used needle nose plyers for years pulling leather needles through suede. I'm not sure I could get used to using anything else. :)

Great for embroidery on thick fabric! I use pliers.

I just use a thimble and pliers. So many useless gadgets for us to spend our hard earned money on. LOL
